Yeah, thanks @Squatting Pigeon they are made here in Denver. The bed panels just lift out so you can have the whole truck bed back (my @pullkitchen is a little more work - but bad ass) and, you can you can get on top and use it as rooftop deck.

Its good. Heavier than I expected, considering the impact on the soft opening of the tailgate - but it makes using the tailgate and getting in and out much better

Got in 9 nights last week.
Golden, Lilloette, Whistler, and Sun peaks.
Dont know how everyone with big trailers does it, ours weighs 1100is lb and even with a supercharger the ol girl struggles a bit.
Activities consisted of biking, swimming, beer and paddle boards.
truck averaged 13mpg or so over 2000 ish km.

I’m finally satisfied with the way my setup looks. I was tweaking the weight distribution hitch adjustments and airbags. Trailer is level and truck is almost level. I got less than a 1/4” squat in the rear. I may put a tad of air in airbags to put everything within 1/8” difference, But I’ll leave it alone. IMG_4958.jpg

Took a trip from Oklahoma out to the Kiowa National Grasslands, I found a long unused campsite looking back down the canyons. Unbelievable how dark it gets so I took the opportunity to take some nightlapse shots, this one was probably my favorite. PSX_20230905_042315.jpg

It’s a 22 hybrid awd and it’s pretty badass. Hit 15k during this trip and hoping to see 215k at least before we even think of getting a replacement

I can’t argue with 040 paint code logic anymore since my GR Corolla is White :anonymous:

Big things in store for the Rav in the coming year! Gonna do mid travel suspension, wheels, tires, armor, lights, and probably more :mudding:

Ouch!! For those with dual axle trailers, the "Trailer Aid" makes life much easier.

Awesome setup, been very curious about these. Did you go for the queen or the full and how much room is left between the bed platform and the tail gate for getting stuff under the platform while the tailgate is up?

Recieved a check from my insurance for the deer & windshield, whats the best way to spend $1k on solar panels & a battery? Can i piece it together better than a 'smart' battery? 1kw? I wanna be able to run a fridge & might be able to mount a 2nd 'house' battery under the hood through an isolator.

but talk to me like i'm 5, because i've always struggled with electrical.

I think the bed is about 50” wide. Could be wrong, but the exped mega 10 fits perfect. There are two panels, so you can make it fit for just 1 person and / or Luke can custom make sizes, so you could do a wide 1 person and have a smaller second piece for two. As far as the space - between the tailgate when both panels are in, I’d have to measure. In my shorted, it’s not a ton, but I can pull a duffle bag back and fourth easily.

check Renogy for panels, prices seem fair. Our 150ah bluetti will run a dometic for 4-5 days without any charge. 100watts of solar and semi sunny skys should go forever.

    @Mr.bee

I have the flexible 100w Renogy mounted to my RTT to keep the Jackery 880 charged to run my ICECO VL45. . note I did run a test over a year ago where I ran the ICECO off the Jackery for I think over a week without a recharge. It is posted in one of the threads on here. Kept beer in the fridge and would open it 3-4 times a day. during the test.

First time Tundra and Overlanding trailer owner but loving the setup so far. Went with the MDC Campers XT16HR Family trailer and it's clearly built to handle some rugged terrain. First time out with it and the kids, the location clearly didn't test it's limits.

First trip out a few weeks ago with the new (to us) truck. The truck dwarfs the trailer, normally pulled with our 4R. Hoping to get into a larger (22'ish) trailer in the next few months.
