Stay hydrated and out of the smoke, my eyes were watering last week with the forest fire smoke.

I had the sway bars done at the dealer, all in was 700, I couldn't do it cheaper, the front bar was only $150, rear bar was 400 something, sparks rear was cheaper by $20 after shipping and prepaid duty.

Overall I like it a lot, can't wait for the new suspension.

I think there's a push on tundra parts in Canada to clear up space for new tundra, I just found out power lock kit is $350 installed, it's still in stock in Canada but seems to be running out in the US

    Nice! Your truck looks awesome.

I had both mine done at the dealer 6months or so ago. I couldn't be bothered to try and do it myself and I was able to use up some dealer credit.

Suspension is next for me too, or so I thought! After our last camping trip, my wife wants steps. So may have some sliders put on first to make her happy and it's a wife approved mod.

I wish there are sliders made in Canada, can really use them.

Dropped off my daughter downtown, and saw 1.41 at gas station, it kinda hurts a little.

Check with some of your local metal fabricators.

I found a guy via Instagram who runs a shop outside of town (haven't been out to talk to him in person yet), but was quoted $700-800 for custom bolt on sliders. I'm guessing that is all in (made, finish, top plate, installed). He's made them for other trucks, so know he can do them.

If it works out....it's a heck of a lot cheaper than bringing them in from a USA place and supports local.

Shipping is going to add $400usd and guaranteed there will be some duty/gst/ fees added at the border. It gets crazy expensive.

But yeah, I wish we at least had an RCI Canadian source or something to choose from.

I wonder if someone in Canada willing to make them if we get enough interest, have you seen anyone in Alberta willing to make? Seems Alberta has more fabricator than Ontario by far.

Excited to go for my first, of what I hope to be many, Terry Fox Day trail runs on Terry Fox Day.

I was in elementary school when Terry was running across Canada and passed away. Over the next few years, I took part in school Terry Fox Runs but didn't appreciate what he was doing or the impact he would have on Canada and the world.

The annual Terry Fox Run isn't today, but I'm still celebrating Terry Fox Day in MB today with a run to honor this amazing young man.

It’s dropped back down to $1.489 here. Was $1.569 for a few days a couple weeks ago.

I don't see any sign of these prices going down. There doesn't seem to be any real cause for it.

Prices originally came up to about 1.30 here when two of our three refineries were in turnaround but, if they're not long done by now, they're in big trouble.

Last time I noticed, $1.689 or 1.699 IIRC, that may have been after it dropped back down?? I really only pay attention to the premium prices during sledding season.

There's also the carbon tax that recently came in and will be going up regularly for the next couple years. I'm fairly certain we'll hit $2 per liter within the next year or two.

I don't think our Corolla is going anywhere, unless we buy a hybrid RAV4. I'm watching the '22 Tundra release with interest, because in 3 - 5 years I'll be in the market and I think my next truck will be a hybrid.

We still have my wife's Corolla, too. Have to change oil in it this week and see if I can figure out what's rattling at idle.

I still have my Corolla, that is my second one and I have yet to have an issue with it. Currently it has 210k kms. I have always said that the Corolla is the world's most boring, yet reliable automobile.

I think my wife was too rough on hers before we got married. Short trips without letting it warm up fully. Letting the guys at the local stealership change oil whenever she thinks of it.

Ours is a 2013 Sport model (fancy body kit, adds 10hp). I think we're just about to turn over 80,000kms. It's still brand new.

Should be in the front just under the engine. I know this because I went through a massive puddle at a fairly fast speed and ripped my heat shield off.

I finally got ambitious enough to crawl underneath and look. Yeah, it's a heat shield on top of the exhaust. I got a parts diagram from the dealership and I'll take a better look tonight when I'm borrowing the pit in my dad's garage to change oil to figure out which bolt is missing. Also got three clips for the rocker panel that were missing but I doubt that's the cause of the noise since it seems to be plastic.

With the Canadian border personnel beginning their work-to-rule thing and saying they wouldn't collect duties. I wonder if this will apply to things we order from the states via mail? Great if right now you can get something shipped up here duty free. I'm all for not giving the federal government anymore of my money.

    News article saying as much:

Good luck getting anything across the border, at least via USPS handing off to Canada Post. I still have two shipments hung up at customs, they've been there for months. CBSA won't collect duty because that would mean actually doing their job and clearing stuff. The only thing I miss about living in Abbotsford is being able to ship to Sumas, WA so I could walk across and get stuff myself.

My last shipment out of the states I had sent via FedEx. Probably gonna ding me for a bullshit "brokerage" fee but I actually got my shit.

    Free trade, my ass.
