What was the reasoning behind doing that? Do you know what muffler you had put in

I felt the truck loss too much low end torque with just the straight pipe, so I added the muffler and the truck feels better.

I really don’t want drone lol. I wonder if your setup now is similar to how carvens catback exhaust is

I have a Carven cat back, looked at Dirty Deeds but liked the looks of the Carven better. As far as Drone have a little @ 1700 to 1900 rpm but my old ears don't hear as well now...at wot it sounds fantastic. My Wife think it sounds just right for the truck and we tow a lot and have no regrets.....windows down its a little aggressive but WE like it.

Thank you for the feedback! I’m still torn. I love the look as well. I have the ability to return it as of now but if I install it then I can’t so it’s tough. Don’t want to regret putting it on and then feel like I wasted money. I don’t think anyone around here would really buy it if I didn’t like it so I’d probably be stuck.

Gearhead...It was a tough decision for me as well didn't want it too loud on the Platinum but my Great wife said it just needs more sound ...so off with the stock pipe ...added the Carvin, At first I hated it thought it was too loud...light Drone @1700to 1900 at 55..60pmh..thought I had made a huge (and costly) mistake. 6 months later still loving it and like I said I tow a 28' travel trailer.

If drone and low end torque loss are a concern, give a call. I build the only system available which addresses both of those issues. I’m also the only exhaust system manufacturer where you can call and speak directly with the engineer.

He is also the only exhaust system manufacturer that will swap out a system, as long as the buyer pays shipping both ways, if you're not happy with it.
I did it, he did it, and I'm more than happy with my replacement.

He swapped my 7 for a 10 after 3 years, I'm very happy with the 10 and the Helmholtz res.
Glad I tried the 7 first.
If I'd bought the 10 in the first place, I would have wondered what the 8 (7 sounded a lot like an 8) sounded like.

No way I'd even consider any other exhaust for a Tundra after reading about BAM on more than one Tundra forum...

Yup, I'm a Keith BAM fanboy, only because I experienced it.

I like your system. It’s tough to gauge the different potential sound levels. But a downside to me is you guarantee no drone if using the helmholtz resonator, which I can’t cut my stock tail pipe due to the truck being a lease. Does the 6-8” systems drone that bad without it?

We can build the helmholtz into the system so that it doesn’t need to be cut.

that said, we also make a block off plate to cover the hole after the helmholtz is removed. I also help with sound level choices over the phone. 760-877-4234

I’ll give you a call probably Monday. can you build a helmholtz for a 3” exhaust from a different manufacturer?

    @dirtydeeds

I have the Carven 3" on mine. The drone was unbearable for my wife. Drove from NY to Florida and back. I ordered a helmholtz resonator from Keith and just installed it today.......WOW.....no more drone.
I definitely recommend the helmholtz resonator if you have the Carven. If you need a whole exhaust go with the Dirty Deeds system. If you already have the Carven like I did just add the helmholtz resonator.

    THANKS Keith.

I think I’m gonna bite the bullet and go with the BAM setup. 10” with Resonator. I just want a little bit more noise than stock but nothing crazy.

Your still going to need a resonator to get rid of the drone unless that doesn't bother you.
