Unless I missed it, we're five pages into this thread and nobody has bothered to mention that the Silverado/GMC 1500 ranks one point lower than the Tundra. Hmmmm. And the Ram 1500 is the most reliable 1/2 ton? Laughable.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
There are plenty of guys on here who came from recent Ram 1500’s that have said the trucks were pretty trouble free.

I have more than a few co-workers who like theirs.

A neighbor up the street had to get a lemon law lawyer involved with his '22 Ram 1500. Stellantis finally agreed to settle. The Ram literally sat in his driveway for a year before they picked it up. He's in a GMC 1500 now.

As it turns out there have been plenty of members here with 3rd Gen Tundras that ended up in similar circumstances because Toyota can’t figure out how to build an engine that’s not full of machining debris.

As it turns out the vast majority of 3rd Gen Tundra owners have had zero issues, and I would trust Toyota vs Stellantis to make right with their customer in the case of a problem.

And the point of my original comment is being missed....Silverado/GMC 1500 ranked lower than Tundra in reliability from CR.

How on earth is a 2500Hd almost 25% more reliable than a 3500HD? Silverados

Venturing a guess it’s probably due to more 2500HD’s having the 6.6L gas V8 vs the 3500HD which is probably overwhelmingly diesel.

If GM were to put the 6.6L gas V8 in their 1/2 tons or magically make their other small block V8’s not have cylinder deactivation they’d probably be a ton more reliable too.

Nah Lexus LX600 is also recalled and that V35A-FTS is made in the land of the rising sun along with the rest of the LC300 based rigs.

I have grown quite frustrated with most of my coworkers but they’re not commies.

They’re just idiots who are functionally illiterate, rendering them incapable of understanding the language of contracts that are beneficial to them.

I wished they would move this post over to the gen2.5 section. Apparently it’s pretty popular with those guys.

Really an unkind thing to say about someone. Curious, do know know anyone that works at TMMAL? How about the Huntsville area? Have you been to Huntsville? I can answer yes to all three and find your remarks to be an ignorant insult to some very fine folks.

Correct, buy what you like the best and get an extended warranty if you plan to keep it.

They’re all shit boxes right now.

It would appear that said "cake" was actually a donut which may or may not have been affixed to your face at the time of seasoning/frosting.
