Truck performed flawlessly even in its clapped out state all the way to work. Noticed a definite "WUB WUB WUB." At this time I'm not sure if it's classic wheel bearings, or just them big ole tires. Need to swap over to a set from the other truck to rule tires out.

Got a lot to do on this ole girl. I think I should tackle the clapped out suspension first, and then do a full body work jobber.
For the time being, I need to get a quote just to have a piece of scrap metal tacked on to cover the rocker hole.

I know I'll feel a lot better when I have OEM LBJs on the new LCAs. I don't trust those no-name O'reilys looking POS.

I'm not complaining one bit, but it still blows me away how much traffic there is here.

With all the crazy shit that has happened recently, or the preposterous amount of work done... I haven't a clue how to update the directory I started. Thinking about just deleting it, and maybe starting over? 58 fuckin pages is a lot to manage. I can't fathom a good way to condense all that into repair one or repair two etc especially since most repairs were several posts in the making.

Unless I have a drop down "spoiler" with in the spoiler. For example...
    Post one link
    Post two link
So on, and so forth. etc.
I know I haven't done anything with the suspension yet, but for the zamples!

    Post one
    post two etc.

Obviously, all the post links would be titled to whatever they are relevant to. Not just some bland ass, non-descriptive ass, hoe ass "Post"

    You smell like Nickels!

Much more to do still. I haven't earned the ressurected name until I'm at least through with suspension simce that could still "Kill" the truck. Pics soon.

Still need some more power flushes once warm on the cooling system.
Gotta have a full blown suspension blow out. Ball joints. Upper control arms. The works.
CV axles too. Need reboooootin. Iffin ya ain't rebootin, ya-ain't 4wheel scootin! Hoo doggy!
Decisions on leaf spring replacements. Kinda feeling cheap this time.....
    Gotta figure out trailer wirin.
Gotta figure out trailer hitch situation
Needa finger out some kind of bumper up front... Best Friends Forever

    Body work. Lots to do.

Think it's just the non-diluted 50/50 zerex or maybe it's acting like a detergent, and cleaning the cooling loop. The zerex looked a little cloudy in the bottom too iirc.

Also, I could have sworn the OEM green in the V6 was more green and less yellow green. Been a few years though...

When you get to the ECGS bushing I have the installer and remover and seal driver (piece of pvc) if that does ya any good.
Not sure if you saw my post but I used the RockAuto FVP high angle CV axles. Lot cheaper than new OEM or CVJ at $125 a pop. Seem like decent pieces. Look like they're made in the same factory as NAPA HD axles.

Thanks! I'll do some reading soon. I have got to change something in my life to get my own space. I looked at renting in the big town and EFFFFFFFFFFF that. Small, confined cubicles surrounded by paper thin walls with no trees. No grass.

You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't the country out if the boy. Rather move to a camp ground year round. Camp fires. Grass. Trees. Something that feels more right.

    If that makes sense...
