Deal on drivers side grab handle?

I can’t imagine it would be different, the tundra hasn’t changed in 5 years

No luck at the junk yard, although i got a bunch of parts for the kids old Malibu.
Ordered from megazip. Wife was wondering why I was looking for a used part for a brand new truck, I don't have a rational answer for that.

Banged this out this morning, love it. I went to a body shop to see if they would put a rivnut in for me, I diddnt want to buy the tool for one job. The guy told me just to use a u-nut. He said it wouldn’t interfere with the airbag at all. He said it’s designed to come straight down. Made me feel better about using a u-nut. Used a M6-1 u-nut and a M6 30mm bolt and washer.

I just got my handle through Megazip. Just over $100.
I find it very weird that I can order a part that is made in the USA, through a website that routed through what looks like some Russian site, then the item gets shipped from Japan back to the USA where it was originally made, and it is still cheaper than buying directly from a local dealer.

I too bought the drivers side grab bar from megazip using this thread. You can see my posts on when I ordered and when I received. Perfect part that made for a perfect install at a perfect price.

 

@hl7806 see the link in the quote above. This is for gray. There is a similar link for tan if you need that, but I think most trucks are gray inside.

 

For the Megazip situation, I don't see an interior color choice. I thought these came in grey and tan? I have grey, like the photos above. Is there only grey? I ordered one anyway.

 

There are different part numbers for the tan parts.

Update: They showed up 18Sep. They took a while (29Aug to 18Sep) but they are 100%. I had to go to Lowe's and pick up the size M20 u-nut and 1.5' M20 bolt/washer, which was $4.10 total.. completely jazzed that this simple mod is so dang useful!!

 

Just got mine today. Ordered Aug 5, got here Aug 24 (Texas). Once it finally shipped though it only took 3 days to show up.
