    Actually you did ghost him. I can blast screen shots all over the internet if you want, but that’s not gonna fix anything. Look up Jay Maisey.
    Happy to talk about it with you further if you want, but I stand by my previous statement.

    I knew who it was, he has made his fair share of snide comments on other forums. I did fail to get back to him with the valving specs, that is far from ghosting someone. He originally emailed me on the day of the Vegas shooting, myself and my family were busy providing help and his email was overlooked, when I finally stumbled across it, I had responded and apologized. Following up I did fail to get back to him, but that is far from ghosting someone. I am human and entitled to make mistakes. His first set of rear shocks had a flaw in the finish, we sent him a replacement shock and took care of it, now if we were in the business of ghosting people we certainly wouldn't have done that would we?

    So yes, I will accept the responsibility of failing to get him the valving information, but to go around saying that I completely ghosted someone after they made their purchase is false.

    Its pretty rad that moderators go around bashing vendors who they have no personal experience with.

    Good morning, this is Tyler at ADS I decided to join this forum to help better service my customers. I have taken over sales and production since October 2018, I strive to provide excellent customer service, and do my very best to get back to every customer that tries to contact us. I do not have any messages or emails for support that I have not responded to since I got back from a tuning session in plaster city on Monday and Tuesday of this week, I'm not sure when you called in for questions but I apologize if I missed you. Id like to clarify a few things for everyone that had read your post so they are not confused on what they have been told, all ADS mid caps in our short body design use only one set screw the other two holes are for a spanner wrench to disassemble the shock, LOCTITE should NEVER be used on a mid cap set screw it will never come out and will cause you a lot of struggle and damaged components during disassembly the next time you take them apart, we actually put a small amount of assembly lube on the screws to prevent seizing from dissimilar metals. Im not sure why the shaft travel was determined to be incorrect I have personally verified that axle and upper arm clearance is correct on the 05+ Tacomas with both our standard and extended travel options. As far as our valving goes I have a lot of very satisfied customers and I also do custom setups for customers everyone is different and require different setups for driving style and applications. id like to see the cross threaded clicker pintle, we use a dual lead thread on that adjuster pin, id love to see what was snapped off, I haven't gotten any orders for clicker parts so if it was faulty it must have been reassembled with the "bad" components. id be happy to talk to the gentleman and help him out any way I can he can reach us at 520-748-0005 or 520-850-2004

    I really hate to get in the middle of all of this (between a mod and a Vendor) and I should probably just stay a bystander... Jason, you have always seemed to be a pretty good guy, as has Matt. And I've never had a problem with anyone at ADS either.

    Is this really true? yeah, the mounting points are the same, but it was my understanding that the different UCA's used slightly different geometry.

    And here you start ripping into them about something that turns out to be a non-issue.

    I appreciate how you are standing by your friend, but is it at all possible that you are being a little overly tough on them?

    Again here... I admit I know nothing about shock spacers in this application, but to say that the valving "sucks azz" seems a bit harsh. I'm completely happy with the valving on my shocks, and it seems like there are LOTS of other folks here that are happy with them as well.

    Just seems to me that (respectfully), you may have either jumped the gun a bit, or let this become an emotionally charged situation. I was dealing with Matt during the middle of his wedding/honeymoon and shop-move last July and he was always VERY responsive to my outreach. And now you have folks from ADS personally responding to you on this thread. You obviously tried contacting them a few times during "business hours"... I won't discount that. But again, such a blatant call-out probably wasn't necessary.

    :crapstorm::fingerscrossed::anonymous:

    Hopefully this all gets resolved for your friend and everyone can :cheers:
