Has anyone re-routed air intake into the fire wall, not going all the way into the cab however just into the gutter (i know its called something else) below the windshield wipers. I drive on some insanely dusty roads everyday and am not wanting to fab up a snorkel. I knew a few guys routing them into the cab on TW however I'm not about 5.7 intake noise in my cab, at least not like that. I just know i need to get it out of the fender well. Thanks

Sweet, I'm internet famous! The only credit I can take is for downloading the instructions from one of the other Tundra forums six or seven years ago.

Y'all got one of these for first gens? I'm trying to replace my speakers and o jist want to be sure I remove the door panels properly and don't break anything. I've done this before on my 99 taco, so I have an idea of what to expect. I'm mostly concerned about the access cab doors

Sorry, I just saw this. Not sure if you’re still looking.

we routed our intake to the cowl and drilled holes into the plastic cover near the center of the windshield. Did it a couple years ago and still haven’t done a proper write up because I had used flexible dryer vent as a temporary connection from the firewall to the airbox, and just haven’t swapped it out for the silicon pieces yet.

I have some time off the end of this year and plan to catch up on my documentation (click the pic in my signature for more stuff). Here is an IG post I made a long time ago, and a YouTube video showing the cowl induction airflow action.
