Drivers side grab handle UPDATE!!

For though of you waiting on grab handles I found a Japanese supplier that has them I stock. I needed the trim so here in the USA it sells for $180. I paid $38 plus shipping totaling $54.
Here is the company and website. Just received confirmation this morning by email that it’s shipping.

I looked at the schematic, how were you able to determine this included the grab handle? Also, The part ends in B0 or E0, I assume that may be the color?

You need the handle too, that part number is 74610-0C082-B0.

Yes, I believe B0 is for gray and E0 is the tan.

 

I asked about the using that above part number and they told me that number is for both lh and rh handles. They wanted my vin so I’m waiting on the correct number for Left hand. These guys are very responsive,

 

$52 for brand new is amazing. I just paid $40 at a salvage yard and have some scrubbing to do.

I placed an order from Amayama for the pillar garnish and grab handle. I then received an email a few days later that the pillar garnish was not available.

The experience was a little strange. I had to set up an account and place the order without payment information. I was told I would receive instructions later for payment. I then received an email that they were checking over the order and something about having to accept extra fees when the order ships. Then I received an email that the pillar garnish was not available. I still had not provided payment info. I'll just let the order expire.

 

They just shipped mine for a 2019 Tundra.

Hmm interesting, I would like to see pics too once it arrives and installed. I am debating getting this handle and modding it for a banks gauge.

Does the old pillar just pull off? Is there an air bag behind it?

Ok, I just placed my order as well. Had to set up my account and then wait for the order to be reviewed (about 8 hours). I received confirmation this morning and paid. Now I wait.. supposed to be delivered on 3/20ish. I'll follow up with pics assuming everything goes as hoped.

 

Most cars, and I believe even the Tundra are VERY similar. Those moldings just attach to clips etc. I know this as the install of the Wolfbox 850 required me to run the wires from the fuse box up through the pillar. I've ran turbo gauges on Subies, Mazdas, you name it. Some of cars had the SRS system. As long as you exercise caution and mold is of good quality and form you should be `ok`. But yeah....

ugh. Glad you're getting it though. Yes I ordered the same part #. Will you update when you receive the order on how it went? I got the following email and am wondering what that is all about.

My pillar is in Chicago and my handle just left Japan. I will update with images when they arrive

 

Whoever gets theirs first needs to do a photo dump on this thread lol... I went the oem route, so I am curious to see how this works out for yall. then our other members who are watching as well.

 

OK, now I am confused. The pillar is coming from Amayama, but where is the handle coming from and how much was it? The invoice you posted only lists the pillar.
