Extended Warranty

Just picked up a 2024 certified pre owned, so it already has a 10 year powertrain warranty through Toyota. Anyone else added a 10 year platinum and if so was it the same price as an non CPO? I'm thinking the bumper-to-bumper would be beneficial with all the tech that could go wrong.

 

Anyone know if the platinum warranty covers the TRD lift components if they were installed after purchase at a Toyota dealer?

 

Well it took a bit of work, back and forth emails and calls but I got with Jerry and he set me up. Got the 7yr, 125k mile platinum warranty for a FANTASTIC price! I called my local dealer, who I've been very happy working with (no markup on Tundra's when I bought my truck 2 years ago) and the finance guy basically laughed at me when I asked if he could match the price or work with me. +1 for Jerry!

Just picked up a certified pre owned 22 tundra limited with 48k miles. Because it’s CPO, it comes with 12k/12mo bumper to bumper and 7yr/100k powertrain warranties. Can I still get an additional extended warranty and do you think I need it? Just worried about electronics and some of the transmission problems I’ve heard about. Thanks to those who posted Jerry’s info. What are your thoughts on if I should get one?

Just talked to Jerry. He is swamped. Said he gets 100s of emails every day. He took care of my warranty purchase over the phone. Very professional.

BTW...@JoshToyota cannot not get anywhere close to competing with Jerry. Josh told me he doesn't know how Jerry can offer such low prices. That's all I needed to hear.

I emailed Jerry twice, and then called and left a voicemail. It took a little under two weeks for him to get back to me. Once he called, we had to play phone tag a few times but it only took about 2 days to complete the deal. I think he just goes down the list, but when he gets to you he's on it. I was REALLY happy working with him. Just be patient, it's worth the wait!

Another option is https://fd-warranty.com/ if Jerry is too busy. I got a quote from both Jerry and FD-Warranty and they were the exact same pricing.

 

This was exactly my experience with Jerry. I am overall very satisfied with the 10 year platinum warranty 0 deductible!!

 

I’m calling Jerry before my factory warranty runs out.

 

Jerry is awesome, got 10 Years / 125K Miles for my brand new old 2021 Tundra with 100 miles on it Pricing was awesome as well, not the $4.600 quoted by the dealership. Imagine the margin they make.

 

im sure it’s a huge margin. Jerry is probably making enough for his time and a little more and still making bank.

 

I am sure Jerry makes $$$ bit I don't think he ads a huge margin. I think is about volume.
