    Too many mods to come

Yea the issue is where the tube lands on the panel out front. With that landing high it puts the tube above into the lid area. Maggy box with the SABM mod is where it’s at if running that box. No need for the stillen tube since they maggy box seals well and sees super low IAT.

Update from my morning coffee run. Now seeing 9-10 above ambient. Before 12-14 and with no sealing or anything it was 70+ . Good enough for now until this whole box gets removed ahah

Sure. I don't have a Maggie box so I am sure some tweaks would have to be made. Those parts can be rotated to navigate around things and accommodate the correct position to the deflector. Also possible none of that shit I listed fits at all in the space confines of the bay.

"No" isn't part of my vocabulary. However, I don't disagree about SABM as you see in my other comments. I'm just trying to make the dream happen since it sounds like he may still be interested in using the Stillen tube. I would play around and test fit those parts if I were working with that air box and trying to affix the Stillen tube.

Seeing your numbers now I want to do a SABM to get those sweet IATs as low as possible without an ice box. Aside from dust having both wont hurt anything.

I don't know if there is a difference with the Sequoia but I'm seeing 3-6 above ambient with the SCOL & SABM.

If only all of the supercharger kits measured IAT after the intercooler like the Harrop, then we could really compare all this talk of efficiency and intercoolers in reference to IATs more accurately.

Also I noticed something interesting today. The ambient temp readout on my dash read 70, but the ambient temp according to my scangauge 3 read 73. I would have thought they were referencing the same sensor, why would they read differently? Is the scangauge just reading the data wrong it could it be looking at a different sensor?

It would be nice to see an even comparison between the designs and their capacities.

From what I've read and seen presented your external heat exchanger's capacity and the highest pump volume/speed you can run before reaching cavitation will make the most difference as does the coolant medium such as pure distilled or water wetter (which not all can run).

When I first got SG3 there used to be two ambient sensor monitors and there was a slight difference in what the two presented. I went looking for the second one recently and I don't think they are both available anymore.

I've had an occasional issue where the ambient sensor shows up as -37 but clears on the next start up.

No new updates on the Supercharger...they said probably 7 to 10 days before they could get shipping info. I pulled my cat plates off so National Speed can weld in a sensor bung, rotated tires and drained Trans while it was on jack stands..will keep yall posted on the progress

    Cannon fodder v2.0

    Speaking of IAT.

It’s been Africa hot in Houston...maybe hotter, this past week or so.

But – my IAT delta is rock solid @ ~26-29 degrees on the hwy.

City stop lights….40-45 degrees….cools back off quick.

The ’34 Ford’s A/C is AWESOME…it’s bearable to cruise around now. However – it makes it hard to wave back at folks when the windows are up. For theater of the mind – riding in it is like sitting sideways in a bathtub.

No gauges. Now, I'm wondering if I can get readings on the digital gauges in the Phoenix Automotive HU which is plugged in to the OBDII port. Hmmm, I have some tinkering to do.

I have an Innovate PSB1 and AutoMeter Fuel Pressure gauge. I use my Kenwood for the rest.

I did purchase the psb1...will mount it in the vent like HulkSmurf14 did. I have my scangauge 2 mounted on that side so I felt this would be a good idea, it's not wired up yet gonna let National Speed do it and weld in the bung.

I’m also proud of you! Buttttt that Intake is the same size MAF tube as the stock intake. @19PlatinumCrew is looking for the larger supercharger specific intake in order to avoid maxing his MAF sensor out I believe?

Cooling medium popped in my head the other night. Thinking back to high compression SCCA VW motors, water wetter gave a noticeable reduction in pre-ignition/knock. Anyone know how Toyota pink responds to water wetter?

Not sure. I know wrong coolant was causing issues on one of the blowers; probably the Harrops.

I think @Fastlane47 runs water wetter.
