Are those the weatherbeater or the Xact? Your post is what is giving me the push to order the huskys.

I don't want to interrupt @AKJ78 answering you. In the meantime, I can tell you the difference between Husky Weatherbeaters and X-act Contours is the material finish, look and "feel". The size and shape are the same for both.

The Weatherbeaters look and feel shiny and slick, kind of slippery under your feet (but the mats don't slip or move on the carpet). They are easiest to keep looking spotless if that's important to you. Those pics look like Weatherbeaters to me.

The X-act Contours have a more "rubberized" appearance and feel. Your feet won't slip (good for off-roading, when you use your feet to kind of brace yourself over obstacles), but seem to hold a dusty look on the surface... compared to the hard, shiny Weatherbeaters. Both are easy to clean and hold up well.

I have Maxliners. So far I really like them. I have always previously had Weathertechs.

According to Husky website, the Contours have the diamond plate looking pattern where your shoe heel would sit when pushing the throttle pedal, while the weatherbeaters are smooth in that same area.

    Thanks for posting those photos!
Those look great, and coupons work for them on Autoanything.com (unlike Husky and WT).

I will be ordering a set as soon as I get back from my Florida trip next week!

Thanks for the info. I just ordered the weatherbeaters. I like the harder plastic and also I have the Sr so I wanted the center hump covered as well

The MaxLiner looks really good. I may give these a try since they are available in gray.

While they are the same size and shape, and have a different surface "feel", the X-Act Contours do have a patterned area where the heel of the driver's foot rests! I guess this is probably a primary reason they brace so well. ;) I sit corrected.

Thanks for posting the correct detailed info. :hattip:

FWIW, here is my good looking driver's side Husky X-Act Contour liner:

I replaced my TRD PRO liners with husky Xcontours right after purchase 2 years ago. Great purchase. Had a couple wicked spills that just poured right off when I opened the door. 110lb Rottweiler in the back a lot. No. Visible wear. Love em. I think all that rubber has a sound dampening effect as well.

I do like those Contours. I wonder if the black mats would look good on gray carpet?

Alright, I'm gonna try to revive this old thread. Lots of great info, but, does anyone have a picture of the husky liners in the rear of a double cab with the oem underseat storage boxes? I'm interested to see the fit before I order the set for front and rear and later wish I had skipped the rear. Thanks

    Too many, but not enough....
100% agree with this. I do not see any downside to these. They fit amazing and look great. The back seat mat in my CM from toyota moved around alot when people were moving in and out of the back seat, and with my kids, it wasnt covering near as much as the husky's. There is almost 0 exposed carpet with the Husky's. Highly recommend them.

Not that it matters but I’d like to throw out there that the guys with the weather techs..(myself) if there turning brown or looking nasty spray some wesleys bleach white on them and scrub them if ya want the dark black color back…mine are great and still look new after 1 year…I work in excavating field and destroy my mats some days and I still keep them new looking…
