FS: 3 switch panel insert plate

Great, started putting my FRAC in as well as an additional 3rd brake light camera with its own master slave switch board so I can switch to a back camera without staring at my trailer hitch all the time. Can't wait to get them switches into your panel.

 

Was able to install mine today and relocate the rear window and parking sensor switch. Will make it a lot easier to stop the beeping when picking up a double cheeseburger for the kid. Thanks Adam for making these!

 

@abomb60, I’m slowly, but surely, getting the install completed, looking at @RainMan_PNW, installation, was able to control the dremel, and now it’s plug and enjoy, thank you both, continue y’all good works.

 

Hey man I’m so sorry that I’m just now seeing this. Life has been a bit crazy. The one you listed says it’s for consoles without the rear air vents, so double check. I will check to see what part number I used.

do you know if the harness works to relocate any other switches? Could I buy several for parking sensor, tow/haul relocation also?

 

No - the one for the rear window relocation is specific to that application. Each different switch has a different connector and potentially different pin-outs. You would need to find a source for the female connector (easy to get by digging through the EWD for the truck) and the male connector (not so easy to find).

 

got it, definitely outside of my capabilities to make my own harness. Simply soldering/running wire is pushing my comfort zone as far as electrical. Is that what all the guys I’ve seen have done? Does that void the warranty? I saw tons three switch pods with window/tow/parking sensor combo. I’d love that

There are a few I'm sure that have made their own extension harnesses, but most I'm sure are just cutting/splicing in extension wires. Technically, yes, you are voiding your warranty for that particular component. How that affects your overall vehicle warranty, I couldn't tell you...depends on the issue. Moving a tow/haul button would be hard to argue caused some sort of engine or tire issue...

 

FYI ... all outstanding orders that have been paid for have shipped today except one to Canada which will go out in the morning. I did a bunch of batches so currently there are 9 of these available without a home. PM me if you'd like to grab one. Spring time is upon us so going to switch gears and move to other projects in the next few weeks but I'll try to keep a few of these on hand.

 

Can’t wait for mine, got some new lights installed and once my switch comes in I’ll be able to hook them all up.

 

Currently there are 14 available and ready to ship. I have one more batch on the printer now that will also be available (so 18 total are available). After these 18 are gone I can print more but there will need to be a small price increase to cover the new higher cost of filament as well as to cover some of the existing increases in shipping cost. I will also be transitioning over to other projects around April 1 so there will be a longer wait time in the future for these as well. Thanks!

Got mine installed. Almost fits so good you don’t need any screws! I put some in but didn’t take an after picture. Great product! Great service.

don’t mind the dirty truck. Much overdue, but running in and out of construction sites really makes cleaning it feel useless this time of year.

 

Put your rear window switch in backwards, and you will truly love this mod even more.

 

you know I was thinking that but I’m not sure I could deal with the backwards word!

 

Try and find a used one from an older truck. My 17 has no words.

 

The lettering on mine was actually on the cap, not the switch itself, so I used some acetone and was able to remove the lettering. I’m not sure you’d be able to do the same with you style of switch, but maybe a q-tip would work with the acetone…

 

When I installed my switch panel, that was a issue, but now it feels normal, I don’t even look at the word, and with the accordion boot install, my rear window stays down

 

It’s too funny how everyone has a different switch. Mine looks like yours, but had no letters from the factory.

 

Yeah - couldn’t tell you the last time I actually looked at the switch. I just reach down and it’s naturally there

 

I'm assuming the boot is between the cab and the topper? If so which one did you use?
