My 19 isn’t on the list either but the turn signal harness is. Dealer said they fixed it though. How do I verify if that’s true? I bought the truck used.

Look at your turn signals to see if they look bright enough.

Mine does it hot or cold, I read about quite a few people having this issue, its intermittent so it's hard to track. I believe one guy found it was the pump itself dripping voltage under a certain rpm during acceleration, he replaced the pump and fixed the problem, and a few more followed his lead and fixed their problem as well. I've been wanting to change the fuel pump but they're stupid expensive from Toyota, I like the kit you showed me, very reasonably priced, and if the fuel pump ever did go out, just pop another one in for a little over a hundred bucks, depending on what brand pump you get. I'll probably place an order for it tomorrow. Just gotta do my research on what pump is the most reliable. I'm thinking the aeromotive

Had my 2019 at the dealer today for the recall .... They had it literally all day . Picked it up . Drove across town and stopped at a gas station . Started to fill with fuel and notice fuel splashing onto the ground instead of going into the tank . Looked under the truck found all the filler neck lines / hoses not attached . Called the dealer . Told them I'm on my way back . Got there told them to fix it NOW ! . waited 30 minutes . Service manager came and told me " an o-ring popped out of place" I straight out called him an idiot and to not feed me a bullshit lie . ( Other customers are now watching the conversation) ... I show him the picture I took with my phone clearly showing the hoses not attached . He comes back with " well you know mistakes happen" . He went on telling me that they filled my gas tank for me ($110 Canadian) . I told him that's the least you guys could do .. I grabbed my keys and walked out . Will never return to that dealer .
I can't stand hack rushed mechanics ... Especially when it's concerning fuel ! . All it would have took was one spark and I would have been up in flames . Glad it was just me in the truck and not my family .IMG_20200826_163338.jpg

Yeah, I'm not impressed with those guys after the last two times I took my wife's Corolla there for recall work.

I have dash cam footage of the tech working on my truck ... If the problem was worse than it was . I'd be tempted to post a picture and name to drag his reputation through the mud . But for now I'd rather just give a heads up for anyone considering going to Sherwood park Toyota for service .
The sales Dept I don't have an issue with . They gave me a great deal on my tundra last year. $39.990 all in .

Damn, and here I thought $45k out the door at Gateway Toyota was good!

Depends what trim your sr5 is..
My truck is just the Sr5 plus trim. Non trd off road package . MSRP was 48k . I jumped on the 8k off deal .

Reminds me of my last visit to Toyota after I needed factory OE wheels mounted and balanced. I installed a Drone module on my car which tells me when they started and stopped my truck. They tell me after I dropped it off Friday night for a 6AM appointment we cannot do those wheels. I said have you opened the box? Oh I’m sorry we can mount those they are OE. When I arrive I get you have a wheel sensor bad it was cross threaded. I’m sorry Toyota they are factory. I waited around for 1.5 hours before I said get me in a loaner and get me out of here. $500 repair bill down to what it should of been to start with $137 for mounting and balancing. I could tell how long my vehicle sat there unstarted and it didn’t get action until after I left around 11AM. That’s 5 hours later.

Yeah, mine is the same. Base SR5 with the upgrade package and the towing package. But Sherwood wanted more for 2020s when I was shopping.

Not sure about the rest of it but as to the time when they started the work, the dealerships here all have a disclaimer about how the appointment you book is just to talk to the SA and doesn't guarantee when the techs will actually get around to working on your truck.

Thats right , my appointment was for 9 am . From my dash cam footage the tech didn't pull my truck into the shop until 2:30pm !

I have a 2019 with a 02/2019 build date and it is not on the recall.

Went in for my 15K service, dealer replaced fuel pump under warranty recall, felt bad as I had a full tank but they still did it. Was finished in the same day as drop off.

This past Tuesday I brought my 2019 Tundra into the shop for the fuel pump and turn signal recalls, yea I know a little slow responding to Toyota’s TSB. Anyone have any issues after having these items serviced? On the side, will I get better mileage or more power with the new fuel pump? Asking for a friend . Thanks

You won’t get any performance gains; you just won’t get left stranded by a fuel pump not designed for the larger tank as far as I can read

There is alot of confusion when it comes to the fuel pumps. My 2020 wasn't affected by the recall.

My 2019 is - from what I understand the pump was not sufficient for the larger 38 gallon tank and some problems occurred that led to the truck going into limp mode.

When the fuel pump debacle started my truck's VIN wasn't on the list and then somewhere it became listed. I guess that was one reason I did not rush out to do anything. But now it's done and hopefully no more TSB's. Thanks folks

Don’t think the recall has anything to do with the 38 gallon tank. The recall covered a large spectrum of Toyota/Lexus vehicles, from the Corolla to the Tundra. It seems more like a supplier quality issue than a design issue related to tank size.
