You could effect some lift by going to larger diameter tires. Specs on different sizes can be found on both TireRack.com and Discounttire.com

Anyone have some of the RRW wheels in the newer sizes that should fit these trucks better?

Never heard of RRW but they have some nice looking wheels and finishes to select from. Wish they would list offset vs backspacing though, lol.

Probably make my favorite wheels for this truck but all of them are a 0 offset which look fine from a lot of angles but they just don't tuck in enough for me. I could have sworn they are supposed to have a 17x8.5 +25 in a few of their wheels this year that would actually fit better.

I'll likely just end up with some methods that I know have proper sizes for the look I want.

RRW have monoforged wheels with a +25 offset and a 95.3mm hub bore for the 3rd gen tundra.

RRW makes a good wheel, light and good strength. But I’m a plebeian in a gen2

These are the 3 wheels I’m considering so far. All 3 are lightweight and hub-centric for the 3rd Gen Tundra

Haven’t decided yet but I’ve been researching lightweight 34’s or 35’s. Here are a few I’ve found so far.

    Cooper Discovery AT/3
    E Rated
    285/75r18 $395/$1,580 95% rated
    34.84” / 59lbs / 17/32nds tread depth
    Max psi 80lbs

    Falken WildPeak A/T4W
    All Terrain C Rated
    Size: 35X11.50R18 $365/$1,460 96% rated
    34.9” / 62.6lbs / 18/32nds tread depth
    Max psi 50 lbs

    Toyo Open Country A/T3
    C Rated
    35/12.5R17 $389/$1,556 93% Rated
    34.53” / 59 lbs / 17/32nds tread depth
    Max PSI 35 lbs

    Bf Goodrich Territory MT
    C Rated
    35/70R17 $280/$1,120 100% Rated
    34.4” / 55lbs / 16/32nds Tread Depth
    Max PSI 35 lbs

I will be towing a 25’ tt at times so the C rated tires with 35lb max rating might not be an option?

I picked my Toyo AT3s for a few reasons:

Weight, 65k mileage rating, and less road noise than the Nitto I was looking at. Since you’re going with a size close to 35” any wheel will look good. I like the look and finish of the RRW the best though.

These are Mayhem Warrior wheels 18x9 in a matte black finish. The wheels are a +18 offset. Nitto Recon Grapplers 295/70r18 with a SL rating. The tires weigh 52.49 lbs each and each wheel weighs 36 lbs each. So I am running 88.49 lbs per corner compared to the somewhere around 76-82 lbs per corner of the factory wheels and tires. The ride is amazing and although I can hear the new tires it is very low.

To the folks who have been following this thread for awhile, does it seem like the majority put 17s or 18s on their truck? And obvious pros/cons for either? I like more rubber, but not necessarily more expensive for only an additional inch of rubber.

17 or 18's make our trucks look like they are ready for offroad. 20's make our trucks look they are ready to go pick up the kids at the mall. :dancingbacon:

SCS just got new wheels with the 95.1 Center Bore and +20mm offset for our 3rd gen Tundra’s in stock yesterday. I ordered 5-17x8.5x17 Gloss Gunmetal Blaze10’s. Their wheels only become available every few months and sell out fast. One of the few lightweight wheels at only 22lbs designed to fit our trucks without needing hub rings. They have other models available.

Since I've benefited so much from the posts on this forum, thought I would post the results so far. 2024 Tundra Limited with 3" OEM TRD Lift. Installed AirLift bags w/ onboard compressor to address towing squat. Just finished up installing Method MR318s with +40 offset. Didn't want much poke given how much gravel I have to drive. 285/75/18 BFG KO3s. Truck is a little dirty but that is going to be a normal state I think.
