Sorry if this has been covered, but how are y'all logging AFRs outside of the scope of the OE wideband? Are you just looking at your wideband under WOT and making notes or is it actually possible to data log with an Innovate/AEM wideband in conjunction with the MPVI2/3?

This is how I set mine up. You can do it a couple different ways, but it's quite simple to use the ProLink+ with the MPVI3 to data log the wideband with all of your other data.

Yup, Datalogging with VCM scanner for sure. One of the reasons I love the Ballenger wideband, it has a canbus option, and plugs between the MPVI3 and the canbus port.

The Innovate includes a little cable that plugs into the gauge and goes to a RS232. You then need a RS232 to USB adapter and plug that into your laptop and select the Innovate Channel and configure it for the specific gauge you have and it'll datalog. All major gauges will datalog to HPT. The Innovate is notoriously a bitch to get the scanner to identify it though, like I have to plug it in then restart the computer with it plugged in for it to see it for some reason.

Here is an example of the HPT datalog with an Innovate, you can see the red/white line is the limit of the stock sensor.

I forget literally everything, but if I sent you the datalogging channels and layout I use then you should only need to plug in the RS232 to USB adapter and it should start logging I think.

It was much simpler than that when using the ProLink+. It was worth the extra $50 or so to me.

Also if you have pro link you can tap the white wire on the Innovate map sensor. @blenton got his to work with the formula in scanner.

Oh so that's how you got the map sensor to work? That makes the Prolink sound actually useful then :D

The white wire is for displaying boost and blenton got the correct voltage formula for hp scanner. So you can do both with prolink.

Yes and Yes. The offset is still off a tad in the formula, but I haven't had time or need to fix it yet. It's close, though. In the range of boost/vacuum that I see, its very close.

Also, I had a bad bypass valve actuator so my vacuum reading was bouncing around a lot. I haven't data logged since I fixed that so I might be able to make the adjustment more easily now.

Anyone want to buy a set of DW650 or an Innovate PSB-1? I bought 2x of each to install for a guy on two trucks, and now turns out he only plans to keep one of the trucks so I have a set of injectors and wideband showing up with zero need for them.

Yes, but I'm nice :D and I was the one who ordered the parts. When dude texts "hopefully you didn't buy the parts, I don't want to modify the one truck" it's easier to just say "no problem" and eventually get rid of the extras on my side. I feel like it's a smaller inconvenience for me than it is to inconvenience dude that he now has random parts at someone else's shop, and parts that he doesn't fully understand. And I have no doubt I can get rid of them, I'd rather earn his business for the other truck by making it an easy transaction overall than sweat losing a few bucks from selling the spares at a loss.

Here's your regularly scheduled reminder to KEEP YOUR FUEL TANK ABOVE 1/3!!!

Was out doing some datalogging last night and noticed it start to lean out above 5,000RPM in 2nd gear. After my 2nd run getting into 11's at the shift, it dawned on me. Idiot. Fueled up tonight after work and she's back.

@snivilous has received my LS 103. We’re getting closer to the intake update. Now we’ve got a new idea for throttle bodies. Might be a good fix. Thanks again @ViktorG

If any 2650 Magnuson dudes want to measure their supercharger intake diameter (where the throttle body bolts up) that would be helpful for a project :D

At least that TB has a short TB shaft that doesn't stick out like the earlier GM90mm and NW103mm TB's. Why I referred to the digital referenced TB's being used. Hopefully you can clock it to avoid the location of the vacuum line on the Whipple platform.

I'll probably just jump to the FiveO 750's when the time comes. Buy once, cry once. Although I may consider getting a updated tune beforehand. Everyone seems to think the stock Magnuson one is pretty weak. Perhaps I'll give @snivilous a shot on remote tuning since our use cases are similar (primarily a tow vehicle).
