Sounds like 5 people in for smaller pulley. I added my old man into the count.

I think we need to start a thread or group PM to sort out what we are aiming for, to be honest, I'm bit loss here with all things going on at work and the thread, are we aiming for 2.3" pulley? how much PSI we expect to gain over stock? and I assume that also entail a pump upgrade and new tune?

Don't be sad your shit post was countered so easily :hattip: maybe if the harrop was aesthetically pleasing in any possible way you would've had some grounds for your shit post, but instead you pick a fight with the TRD branded units? You're right it was a shit post :D

I’ve seen that countless times, yet every time someone shares it I have to watch the whole thing out of sheer enjoyment.

On a break from shitposting, has anyone checked their blower assembly for leaks? I saw on Facebook a company developed titanium rotors for the Harrop which are of course a lot lighter, and before they tore it down they leak tested it new out of the box. He said it had multiple leaks and that just sealing them up with high temp RTV netted an extra .75psi just from that.

Question for those with boost gauge

how much boost shows cruising down hwy

that holdener guy said the rotors during bypass still give 1-2 lbs.

My gauge shows a vacuum, albeit less than it would otherwise read without the blower I’m sure. When I hit a pretty decent hill and it’s still lugging up it in 6th I’ll start reading a little postive boost pressure.

Ok update from the fender leak hot air concern I mentioned earlier. Pops is on his way back from socal to az. His IAT temps typically were 30 above ambient. He did a quick duct tape blocker to seal that area of concern and sure enough now seeing the following below.

100 deg or less ambient. IAT 9-12 deg above ambient
100+deg ambient. IAT 12-16 deg above ambient.

Significant drop in temp. Another finding during his logging is his oil temp is now cooler than previously which is interesting. Cooler running perhaps from less overall heat and in turn less heat created by the oil and engine etc. So, I've ordered the parts I tossed out and will leave or rework my foam to help. Hopefully I got the right part ordered. I plan on leaving the gap on the driver side open to help evacuate heat out of the engine bay since that side doesn't matter.

That’s not train dust, it’s dust from disintegrated failure prone magnuson couplers. To clarify, you must have been behind one on the highway.

yes...only because of driver error. Me and my gas pedal don't have a good relationship.

    I'm working on my skills.

once these monsoons pass, my goal is a 5.05 0-60 4.98 with rollout. (gonna take a miracle.)

I'm considering stripping naked to save weight. it matters in times like these.
