Girls with trucks

I was going back and forth between the Tundra or waiting for a Sequoia. Ended up pulling the trigger with a 2024 Tundra Limited 4x4. Just curious as to what you guys think when seing a girl in a truck? Is it sexy or off putting?

 

A vehicle is a vehicle. Whether a woman is driving a car, truck, or suv...doesn't matter. Now, a woman USING that truck for off road or outdoors activities....Winner, winner, chicken dinner

 

What do you think when you see a guy driving Mini Cooper or a Smart car?

What do I think about girls driving trucks? Well it's not common here, and does call attention.

Sorry, first thought is... Is She driving her husband's truck?

Second thought, ok if truck has something feminine such as stickers or some sort of pendant on the mirror... Ok so I guess it's Her truck. Kind of cool...as don't see many women drive trucks here.

But it really doesn't matter. Hope you enjoy your truck

My soon to be Bride always had a thing for trucks (she never owned one) she had an 04 Corolla in showroom condition, anyway,when I was in the process of buying my new truck they low balled my current truck and I asked them so are you guys smoking crack?
WTF!

So out of spite I asked my girl if she wanted it,man her eyes lit up like I had just proposed to her all over again, and she immediately said YES!
So she's 4'11" 100# soaking wet with crazy red hair,I have caught fish bigger than her!
So I told her on the way home we gotta stop by Burger King and steal a kids booster seat, she asked why? your gonna need it to reach the peddles...
Man every time we are out and she's driving her new toy all heads are on the swivel,yeah I may be a tad bit biased but man,a hot chick in a big ol truck...

Welcome from VA. My wife drove a truck when we were dating. And what Jim said is true.

 

Welcome from VA as well. Honestly? Regardless of sex/gender, I'm more concerned about whether or not they can DRIVE. LOL

I will say I think it's awesome when I see a woman driving a truck especially if it gets used. Capable truck = capable woman.

 

I have actually stopped giving a shit what people think, I love my truck, and need it because I own a house and use the bed on the regular for dump runs and for when I do my gardening in spring, and for all sorts of other stuff! It used to be fairly unusual in my area to see a woman driving a truck, now I see it all the time, so I think it's becoming more normalized! If I had a hubby I would happily let him have the truck and I would just drive around a small SUV, but currently I am living solo!

Congrats on your new purchase! I LOVE the new sequoia, but good choice with the Tundra as well!

 

I don’t think a truck makes anyone sexy.

But a truck is a common point of interest for lots of men, and a woman driving a truck is an easy conversation starter for potentially interested men, whether she is looking for attention or not.

 

A good friend of mine started the off road vixens brand we wheel with a big group of girls monthly so it really isn't a big deal to me or the group we get outdoors with. It is really nice to see how the women in the off road vixens support each other and teach the newer drivers the basics of driving and recovery.

 

Funny that you mention this. The first time I heard of total chaos was from a group of women at Buttercup in the imperial sand dunes. They were doing an all female, all off-road land nav trip. It was pretty cool.the co-owner of TC was leading it.

 

This is going to get out of control soon lol.

 

To be honest, no difference.

I do notice women owning and riding their own motorcycles.

 

i only really notice when they're going for it by adding a 10" lift with pink accents and headlight eyelashes.

Seriously, I’ve never seen a woman driving a truck and thought “HOT DAMN!!! SHE’S DRIVING A TRUCK!!!!” (And skillfully dodge the roundhouse my wife tosses at me from the passenger seat)

I don’t care, and you shouldn’t either. Drive what makes you happy, and don’t give a crap about what others think. Enjoy the truck! Drive it like you belong in it.

 

If the reverse is true, what do you think of men driving a Subaru Outback or Prius?




Shamefully admits I have owned 2 Prius, 1 hybrid Avalon and 1 hybrid Sienna.

My first impression would be:

Female driving Sequoia - Soccer Mom
Female driving Tundra - Noice

In the end we all have to go with what works best for us and that's all that should really matter.

 

Message for OP. Life is bigger than whatever this thread is about. People need to stop worrying about what the rest of the world thinks about them and buy what they want or need to have. The need for attention has been overamplified by social media and the ability to get random feedback online from people you don’t know and will never meet and using that feedback to validate something. Needing some dude to like you because of what you drive is not a great way to find a guy that actually likes you for you. Hopefully you wanted or needed this truck for you and you enjoy it because of that. Don’t worry about the world, it doesn’t really have anything to do with your life. Friends and family will love you and support you regardless of your possessions.

You have an unfair advantage though, as you have the best tundra color out there!

 

Enjoy the truck first, your mind will tell you what you think of said situation and go from there.
I mean, this forum is known for spending others money with no regret, you will be out of another truck's value before you know it and the truck is still half way modded.....

Drive it, enjoy it, and ask, what is it I miss/don't enjoy, and go from there to find possible solution.
Aside from gas mileage and how hard it is to park, those are, eh, basically dead end questions.
