Here is my version of beside supports. 1” 4130 tube and 1/8” plate. I used some 1/8” rubber material in between the fiberglass just because. Bolted to the frame with the factory drilled holes.

Highly recommend that you build a coil tower brace….

I really do want to built an engine brace but I need to at least buy the Camburg Bypass mount because I would probably add on from the top of that mount. I guess I could just buy the mount with no bypasses for now to get things rolling.

Oh and do motor mounts. Way easier to install before the frame gets all out of whack.

If I built another LT Tundra it wouldn’t have a secondary bypass. Would use that space for a proper bump and run an IBP coilover.

    :notsure:

I wouldn’t waste my time with a stock coil bucket LT kit. Still would have a bypass etc with a true J arm or LSK race kit

I know I may be reviving an older thread. The info here has been excellent.

I'm starting the LT process on the truck. For the front I'm looking at the Dirt King kit and was originally going to go with their King coilovers specifically for their kit. Then I read this thread lol. I noticed a couple of you mentioned going with an IBP coilover. I just started digging into them and saw some options through Accutune. I'm looking at the King 2.5 IBP 8" with the adjuster. I may be wrong but it seems every LT manufacturer spec'd coilover is 8". Is this the correct travel coilover and are there any downsides to running this option as opposed to the ones spec'd for Dirt King?

Sorry for the dying thread. I had my first child last year and then decided to break both my legs in a dirt bike accident in January so progress on the truck has been dwindling. I personally have no experience with the IBP. If I were to speculate, I would still prefer to have a standard 2.5 coilover with a 3.0 bypass for ease of tuning the bypass external adjustments. I believe the IBP is only compression adjustment throughout the entire shock stroke (without shock disassembly). The dual shock setup is probably a lot more expensive though. Hopefully someone with some IBP experience can chime in here. Also on a side note, if going with LT I would have the ultimate plan to be doing the rear as well. Let me know if you want random pictures to help your build because seeing everyone else's chassis photos helped me build mine.

Sorry to hear, that’s gotta be tough raising a little one with broken legs.
This might be a little crazy but Any chance you used to live in San Juan Batista and lived with a guy named Dan Conner? Looking through your thread you truck looks just like the one I would see parked out front when I would pick him up to go ride lol
