Just picked up a GX470 yesterday so figured I'd get this going. Won't be going nearly as crazy with this as with my RCSB. First stop is the audio shop tomorrow for a full system, tint, cameras, remote start, etc. The usuals. Previous owner also wrapped the interior woodgrain pieces in vinyl, which I like cause I hate woodgrain, but did a horrible job. So my vinyl guy will also be re-wrapping everything while it's at the shop.

At least its carbon fiber wrap so its lighter...

Looks like a sweet ride!! Had a 460 for a minute, but I like the looks of the 470 more.

Very cool. Considering watching for one of these for my oldest. Or a 4.7 4Runner.

Same. I was able to find 460's for less money but was set on a 470.

In my Civic, that I'm selling, I had a single Massive Audio Hippo 12 on 3000w RMS. It's far louder than my truck with 2 JL 12's. The GX is getting two of the Massive Audio 12's each on their own 3000w amp. As well as 8's in the doors on their own amp and then components up front and all that. Can't wait.

In 2000, we didn’t have long excursion subs.
I had 2 elemental design 12. They had 12mm excursion. a big amp was 1000 watts.

these days, you can get subs with 30mm.

3000 watts is damn near common. With 1/4 of the amp draw!

damn it. Now I got an itch that needs scratching

I haven't really looked into the audio selection for the GX yet, so interested to see the outcome!

Until I can find the damn proper non-nav climate controls I'm gonna be stuck with this POS Tesla style head unit that came in it.

are those from a 2024 Tundra? I tried to run them but the center bore size is smaller on the tundra than the gx.

    But otherwise they look dope!

Yes. I've seen a ton of GX's with 2022+ Tundra wheels

These better fit. If not I can sell for a big profit but I'd like to use them

there are knock offs that look the same, then swap the center cap to TRD. I went through the saga in my build thread. You can get a spacer to make it work, but I didn't want it to stick that far out.

Hmm. How far off is it? Something a machine shop could fix right up?

From my reading I may need spacers regardless with these tires

    I've seen 1.25" spacers. Is there a 1"?

i ended up selling them for a $200 loss. it would've cost more than that to make it work. I ended up getting the TRD Pro 4Runner 17x7 black wheels. the SEMA Bronze version are 17x8. But ya, it's a huge bummer cause those Forged BBS wheels are hard to beat

    Sonofabitch.

I'm driving. Will have to dig in deeper when I'm home. Was hoping this would be simple

Did you sell yours? Were they the true BBS ones? What did you get for em?

ya, they were take offs from a brand new 2024 Pro that the dude was already modding. They only had 115 miles on the wildpeaks. I bought em for 2400, sold for 2200.

I basically stole these so I can definitely pull a profit but lemme figure out how to make these work. Ugh. It's this or TE37's

Yea, I know Tacoma bolts right up and it says they work on Tacoma. Might have to give these a shot.
