Hooke Road Bumper Help

I have been looking at these bumpers too. And someone local has a brand new in box for $100 less than new. Could probably talk him down some more. But that’s fitment issue is a deal breaker for me. And y’all’s comments about lack of response to emails and calls doesn’t give me the push I needed.
Question tho, how thick is the bumper? Would you be able to still holes for parking sensors?

 

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been traveling. I believe the bumper is 3/8 steel, but yes, you can drill holes for the sensors. That is on my project list, if I ever get time to work on it.

It might be 3/16" it is definately not 3/8", and yes, I have seen and touched one.

Iirc, it is actually like 14 or 16 guage. The brackets are likely not even 3/8".

As someone who previously owned and sold his Chinese heavy duty front bumper, just walk away. The headache isn’t worth it,and the list of issues isn’t even worth typing out. It’s junk
