Shoot me some pics of what you currently have, and do your best to verbalize what your goal is. I can see if I can come up with something!

I have the sport grill. I had the Rigids set up like this on my 2013. I tried the T-Rex grill insert but the fitment was not for me.

Yeah you could do something like the SAE kit that @TRDFerguson linked you to. Or do you want a smaller pod look?

Was that the 6 inch bars in the slots? They won't fit with the trans cooler installed.

Yeah that's the kit he/I was referring to. So where do you have room in the grille area? High or low perhaps?

I have room. It's trying to not have the grill blocking alot of the light output.

Xtrusion Overland Bed rack, CBI rear bumper, and new RXT leaf packs... ORDERED

The ETA on my leaf packs right now is 10/16 though which is solidly not cool. Gonna see if there's something I can do about that. Keeping my ear to the ground with all distro channels.

Just got my CBI rear bumper installed. Liking it so far. I need to do some tweaking on the BSM sensors still though.

I went with this one for similar reasoning. I can maintain BSM and still have a good looking unit. I don't anticipate much issue getting them readjusted, but just the fact that I said that is probably the kiss of death :bananadead:

Really curious to see the Xtrusion rack when you get it. Been looking at their racks for a while but have not pulled the trigger yet.

Just a quick iPhone shot, but MESO customs console trim blackout kit installed. Almost have all of that chrome out of here! Can't wait to finish it all up... I told Stew that he should definitely have an install guide for these though. I know it's just swapping plastic trim, but there's a lot of folks who are not comfortable with zipping their brand new truck apart with a Dremel and/or plastic welding. Some folks might not even have the tools!

What are your plans for your shifter? Doing anything totally custom?

The Teton with the red would look awesome if you were needing a suggestion

I've got one coming from @T-Rex266 that is the older TRD Pro one (black and brushed silver coloring) to pop in there for the interim. I plan to knock it down and repaint it to something else.

However, I have definitely seen those. I personally don't have a huge hard-on for the Teton design for some reason, but if I can't make something happen that I am happy with I'll probably end up getting one. They're one of the best aftermarket ones that I have seen.

Absolutely not! :p Last thing I want is a bright blue LED in my cab. I swapped the orange clock to blue LEDs in my '05 Tacoma and it was the worst thing I could have done. If I ever have accent light in the cab it would be red or a very weak white (like I have in the footwell).

How does the Tacoma handle get its power? I have never pulled off a Tacoma knob to know what runs up into it.

You run wiring through the shift boot (Like MESO's ECT shift knob) You can tap into any wiring you want really, shift gate power, 12V power, any pigtails accessory.

    Shift Knob Install - YouTube

Also you can get the LED in lot of different colors also switch back colors.

I figured as much. The Tundra's knob is just perched up there chillin so I don't see myself fiddling with trying to get power up there.

I felt the same about the Teton. I liked I could get the scales blue though so it was an option. But I got lucky and found a Rock Warrior Tomahawk shifter being sold on the forum and jumped at it. I was liking the older pro shifter but I wanted blue accents not red lol

Good luck to you. Your build is fun to watch!

The tomahawk shifter is still my favorite.
If you find one for a reasonable price (got mine through a junkyard for $50), I’ve got a remnant of the perforated leather to recondition it. It’s actually the remnant that Robert sent me - there’s at least enough for one more shifter in it. I’d forward it on gratis like he did.

    Well crap - I thought it was…
Someone on here that refinished a tomahawk shifter. Back in late 2020?

DERP - just went back and found the thread. Your leather is bright blue. It was JWood that sent me the scrap from his shifter.
