I find it so strange we have tons of members (with first gens, no doubt) in AZ and TX, but I don't know a single member from NM

Come to think of it, I don't know of any members from Oklahoma or Louisiana either. It's like Texas is alone in the world haha

I mean, I'm technically from LA. I'm just biding my time here in ATL because work deposited me here, and I had kids.

Don't act like you want to go back. When I worked at the plants, we'd have tons of contractors come from Louisiana. Even they said it was a shit hole.

Wow! How's the truck do in those road conditions. Wait... What road? Also how are you staying warm in the camper?

Decent. Hard to say. The weight of the camper helps with traction, but also helps make me slide sideways on slanted, icy roads. The truck itself does great. I put chains on this time. Most of the road was like what's in the photo, but there were some gnarly drifts to get through.

You can see the propane tank in one photo. There's a Wave catalytic heater in there. Works really well in such a small space. I almost had to stay another night and that would have been the real test...my truck temperature gauge said 11 degrees as we were leaving last night around 8pm.

Dispensary feels like a necessary stop on the way to spend time with family, even when you get along pretty well with the family.

It's sad that at this point in the year, looks like they've actually got more snow than us, and it doesn't look like they've got much.

You buy that thing or build it? I don't recognize the camper. I had a little motorhome for a while and there's something really nice and cozy about them...I'd love to do a similar build someday.

It was shipped to Japan and converted at the Toyota factory. They lengthened the frame, beefed up the suspension and raised the gvw. From what I can tell they made 10 of them for a special order back in 2006.

At the factory? Nice. Left or right hand drive? All the old ones, before Toyota stopped letting rv manufacturers modify their trucks, were done by the rv company. Seems like there might be a resurgence. I didn't realize any Tundras had been built into rvs (other than at-home builds). Score.

    Got interior photos?
