My bad - load leveling - not AVS.

Just wanted to provide an update on my setup with rear air suspension and AVS. When my '22 was new, there wasn't an option to increase the rear height to go with a front leveling kit, other than modifying or replacing the rear air sensor brackets (which is what I did when it was brand new). Essentially that increased the rear air pressure to raise the back of the truck to the desired height needed to go with the front leveling kit. It worked okay but I knew it had to be a little bit harsher in the rear with the extra air in the bags, even though I thought it rode fine (other than Comfort mode which was a little weird with that setup). I also always had in the back of my mind the concern of possibly over-extending my rear AVS shocks over a big bump and while I never had an issue or damage from that, I'd hate to have to pay that bill.

So a couple months ago I finally installed the ReadyLIFT spacer kit on the rear. This spaces the air bags off the axles and also provides extensions for the shocks, bump stops, and brake lines. That, along with provided replacement sensor brackets, puts the air back to the pressure as was originally designed by Toyota as well as significantly reducing the potential for shock damage. Note that the kit comes with front leveling spacers too so you get a complete kit but I already had those installed.

While the ride was fine as I originally had it, I must say the ReadyLIFT kit was well worth the time and money. I now use Comfort suspension mode as my standard and the truck rides like an absolute dream, while still automatically adjusting for all my work tool and gear load, plus the boat when being towed. The other modes (Normal, Sport, and Sport+) are great too and I use them when appropriate/desired.

So if you have the use for and are lucky enough to have the rear air/AVS and want to level the truck, spend the extra and do it the right way instead of just using sensor adapter brackets. You won't be disappointed.

Now we just need Toyota to build more of these (6.5', hybrid, w/ rear air/AVS) ultimate 1/2 ton towing and work machines. Nobody on earth has an equivalent. So strange they haven't leveraged this but then again, that seems to be the Toyota way :)

No, those are for coils in the back. The brand readylift has 2 and 3" lifts for rear air.

That's the one I have on mine. They have a 3" also. Like the OP I took did a front with rear arms and I didn't like it. This was so much better.

That's what I run as well. Low bag psi but added lift

What size tires did you get on after the lift. Was looking at either 295/70r18 or 285/75r18.

I have Nito Terra Grappler 305/55R20. The front leveling spacer kit is a Rough Country 1.75. There was the slightest rub at full lock when the tires were new but it's gone now.

They actually only 33” but wider. So smaller than a 34-34.5
