I have the Cali Raised Dual Bracket too. I did "gamble" and go with some Nilight curved LED bars from Amazon, and luckily no condensation yet. I have a Limited also, so here's some pics showing what they look like behind a Limited grill. The bars line up great with the grill, only partially obstructing the beams:

    Night shot?
Are you running 1 switch for both bars?

How long have you had the light bars? Do you have any night shots of the light bars on? I saw the Cali Raised units and the brackets. Looks like you have to remove some paneling in order to utilize their bracket. Is there any other company who manufactures brackets that doesn't require removing of any brackets?

I’ll take some night shots tonight. I have had the Nilight bars for about a year, and no condensation issues yet. The plastic panels that are removed have caused zero issues for me; they’re basically wind / bug deflectors to keep trash out of the engine compartment, and I really haven’t noticed considerable trash buildup in said compartment. I run all (4) of my LED bars off one switch, nicely hidden under the USB panel ledge. I’ll take some pics of my switch and the wiring set-up of the LED’s too. SO awesome to have all 4 bars running...so much more light to see deer on the sides of the road. Deer are the debbil Bobby Boucher, THE DEBBIL!!!

It's really too bad the caliraised's dual pod bracket arent setup for the 2nd gen. I really like the dual bar style. Mainly wants it for night driving because of deers.

What is the difference between the 3x2 pods and the 2x2 pods? Also are the fog lights street legal? With them being fogs, will they blind people on the road? I like to keep my fogs on all the time because it lights up the side of the road better and helps me see deer. Even though that didn't help me a couple weeks ago.

    Here's my experience/ .02c

I put the HR 40" stealth bar behind the grill. It puts out a great amount of light, and is "out-of-sight" when not in use. I wired it to a new switch that replaced the headlight levelers switch. It worked great, but you still have to reach and find the switch and sometimes that gets fouled up when you're trying to do it quickly (incoming traffic). I drive a lot of backroads and use the lights for deer, so they are on often. They are so bright that I can't see on-coming headlights until they are too close.... Then I'm frantically reaching for the switch and sometimes miss it and just blast on by (this is not good for anyone).
    IMG_20180512_165241.jpg

    Soooo
I bought the NSV HOOD lightbar which integrates beautifully into the exterior as well as perfect OEM integration. On an off in an instant with the OEM headlight switch so no more blinding people with flubbing the switch off.... Perfect.

Now I use pretty much just the NSV bar because it is super bright, and there's no deviation from normal driving. Safe and courteous without fumbling. Win win.

So worth the money, if I were doing it all over it would just be the NSV.

I'm assuming that all the light bars currently shown in this post are mainly 5000k-6000k light color temperature.

Yes that’s what you want 5-6k in color. But everything you see maybe different. Buy from know brand or like @Headlight Revolution you don’t won’t purple, or if night fog, rain orange/yellow is want you need. Depending what using for.

Again, I apologize for the delay. Tonight finally good for pics. 1st is my “hidden” switch that turns on all four bars. 2nd is my wiring set-up, with relay, main fuse, and distribution block to each bar. 3rd with normal lights, and 4th with bars on. Final is a front shot; too much light to get a really clean pic, but you get the gist. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the compliment!!

All of my bars are the Nilight brand. Yeah they’re considered by some to be cheap bars, and people automatically assume they’ll have condensation issues, but after more than a year I’ve had none, and I’ve saved about $600 combined on my four bars versus the more expensive ones that are supposedly condensation-free. The lower bumper brackets (and my dual bar brackets behind my grill) are both Cali Raised LED. There are cheaper brackets out there for the lower bumper, but Cali is one of the only manufacturers out there that make the dual bar bracket for behind the grill, so I bought both sets of brackets from Cali, sans the bars. Total of $130 for both sets of brackets. FYI, the lower bumper brackets from Cail use 32” bars. I hope this helps.

I can't say for sure that these fogs are street legal, but I run with mine on with the auto head lights. Headlights come one, fogs turn on too. I've never had an issue with anyone flashing me when I drive through town or going down the high way. We live a ways outside of town so the extra light to the side is nice when we get on the road to the house. I do wish they were brighter, but then I likely wouldn't be able to get away with running them in town. Guess I'll have to buy some ditch lights! We regularly encounter cows, hogs, deer, neighbor's dogs, so any extra lighting helps.

I just installed the dual light bar setup behind my grill. Have you had any issues with the engine temp, since some of the airflow is blocked. That’s my only concern to an otherwise awesome lighting solution.

Light Bar in lower bumper installed right on crash bar. Rear pods mounted on rear bumper support hidden come on when in reverse so the rear is lighted. I have been running this since summer no issue and super bright. The 42" curved fits with about close to an inch on either side. Had to remove front bumper to get to crash bar. Wiring harness is excellent. Didn't like the rocker switch but you can get factory flush switches.

Zero issues. Another member asked this question as well as it’s a valid concern. I run Torque, and have minored my temps, and even during the hot SC summers, in traffic, no problems with temps.

Also, I upgraded to a Pro grille, so even more light shines through.

Has anyone run a 42” diode dynamics bar in the hood bulge with the sdhq mounts? If so, any issues with the fit?

Did you do the nilight bulge install others have been sharing the YouTube video of? I ask because I was getting ready to do it before people said it can cause the clips to break and cause major vibration at high speeds. Any issues you have seen or did you come up with a fix?

I just haven’t run into any of those issues with the SDHQ hood bulge brackets and the light bar I bought. I know though that the SDHQ hood bulge bulge brackets are WAY more robust than the other cheaper ones out there that I initially installed.
