Kinda thinking that too. Maybe previous owner snapped LBJs and bought aftermarket LCAs that do not have the same contact point as an OEM LCA and thus allowing it to turn past a critical point.

What's the best 4x4 brand of control arms y'all recommend? I am looking at purchasing new ones

If you're in NorCal I'd give you my OEMs that I took off my truck. They're just laying around the backyard.

You could do a test to see if this is the source of the problem. Figure out a way to put like a nut, maybe use some wire to tie it around the knuckle, so that it makes contact with the LCA sooner. Then back that thang up. Warning: you might break another LBJ if it's not the source of the problem

Hmm so kinda just fashion it on there and see if I'm squishing the nut? Or if the nut doesn't make contact?

Nut should make contact. When you turn full lock the steering wheel should not rotate as much as it usually does.

I'll do that, I looked it up and those knuckles do not come with the lift kit

Something's fishy and I think Cruzer may be on to it.
Also - it's easy to bash bracket lifts but if anything they are easier on most IFS components(especially CV's) with keeping closer to factory geometry and should have zero to do with this. issue.

I also think he's onto it. I'm going to entertain the bolt idea. But in the end here I'm looking at lift kits without spacers. And new control arms

OEM LCA's are really not "that" expensive if those are the issue - and with that bracket lift you don't need new UCA's

BDS sells the replacement FOX coilovers to eliminate the lower spacer that match the kit also.

You'd still need the spacer bracket as far as I know and it may not work with the 6112's.

Yeah I would use the bracket with them. But just because the price of them I'm thinking of returning them and spending a little more on a front lift kit that does not use spacers

I thought you just said you were planning on using the 6112's??
but yes, I'd get the fox coilovers to replace the fronts and eliminate the spacers.

Either way, it's not going to fix your lower ball joint issue.

Rite, I have the 6112s I was going to replace with. But in the long run I'm hoping to get rid of the spacers. Was not sure if I could just get coilovers that could replace the old ones and the bracket. I'm not too truck savy. But from the sounds of it I'll get in touch with BDS and talk about the fox coilovers to get rid of that bracket. And the Joint problem I'm going to test the bolt idea by cruzer and see what happens

Are those outer tie rods upside down? or is that part of the lift kit that you have to flip them .
