That reminds me of when I bought a new stainless steel dishwasher and the installer peeled off the blue protective covering. What a dick. Old one went out due to "oil over everything" or something like that. Pfff.

 

Mistakes were made. Synthetic oil clinge too strong, you've gotta run conventional oil a few times before loading parts in your dish washer. Cascade will knock it right out. Worst case drop some seafoam in your whirlpool.
