Will there be a version available that fills more of the OEM cutout on the TRD Pro grill?

Looking at the 18" stealth light bar for my 23 1794. Is the switch compatible with the space on the switch panel or should I get an OEM switch to plug into?

Looking for feedback on the TRD grill light bar if anyone has one? I was saving up for the Baja Designs S8 20” to replace the factory light bar. But I’ve had good experience with DD in the past and can’t beat the price!

The TRD Pro Grille Light Bar kit uses our Stage Series 18" Light Bar. We don't have plans for a 20" Light Bar at this time.

The included switch is a simple on/off toggle and can be wired to factory auxiliary switches if you prefer.

We're currently working on providing installation and overview media for YouTube. Thank you for your patience!

Since they're off-road lights and not legal for on-road use, they are manually controlled. Thanks!

Just ordered my grille light to go in the pro grille conversion. Is the switch sealed to the elements? I’m going to hook my relay to my high beams in the fuse block under the hood and would like to use the switch as a kill switch under the hood if I want to separate the functions.

The screws go in from behind the grille. To get to that spot, you need to remove the grille shutters. To get to the grille shutters you need to take off the bumper/grille.

Yes, that's correct but I saw someone on Youtube install Baja Pro grill light bar kit without removing. Can't hurt to try!

What’s the secret to getting the bumper panel off to change the fog lights?

Sorry for being technically challenged but I thought I saw a post about a Toyota OEM 20" Light bar that fits into the space in the lower front bumper. Does anyone have the part number for that please? I have not been able to find it. I am hoping it will be compatible with a 1794 edition.

    Thx

The toggle switch included isn't weather proof but is easy to tuck away under the hoodie in a safe location. This switch can also be swapped for an alternative switch or controller of your choice!

As for installation instructions, we are currently working on installation guides along with high-resolution step-by-step YouTube videos.

I finally installed the pro light bar bracket and light bar. If DD can provide a detailed install video for both the hybrid and non-hybrid that would be awesome.

The light bar build quality is superb and stout. The thing is dense and fit/finish is amazing. I have not hooked it up nor ran any wiring yet, so I cannot speak for the light output. Based on youtube videos and forum member reviews, I can only imagine that meets all my expectations. I honestly don't even think I will run power to it anyway. I mainly purchased to fill the void on the pro grill. I may do it later on down the road since I purchased the Cali Raised switch. I am only pushing the install due to the fact the battery is located in the cab and do not want to run to engine bay positive post.

As for the bracket, amazing quality and coupled with the light bar weight, I do not think I will encounter any future issues with cracks that we have all wondered about.

The only thing I can say to DD that needs some attention, is the Hardware provided with the light bracket kit. The screws are a hair to small and short. The screws just would not grab the plastic and the washers provided did not allow the screws the dig deep enough into the plastic. I reused the factory screw for the camera bracket for the bottom mount. As for the top three screws, I had to install without the washers. I will make a quick visit to the hardware store to pick up three screws for the upper mounts that will ensure proper mounting.

The screws provided are my only complaint and actually just a minimal issue. If DD can fix this, this is Money!

@Diode Dynamics - Any ETA on when the stealth light bar and ditch lights will be back in stock or available for order? I just went over there and it looks like everything is not available except the brackets

    Hey there!

Our TRD Pro Grille Lightbar Kit for 2022-2023 Toyota Tundra product listing has a backorder status with a note.

[IMG] "Backorder: Order placed today will ship in estimated 3-4 weeks"

Many users assume waiting for the item to re-stock is the best approach but the trick is placing a pre-order if it's a high-demand item. This reserves you a spot in line or product assigned to you ahead of others.

Plus, if the backorder date for any reason pushes back and you're unhappy. You can make a quick phone call to our custom service team for a hassle-free interaction to quickly and easily cancel your order!

    https://www.diodedynamics.com/trd-pro-grille-lightbar-kit-for-2022-2023-toyota-tundra.html

As for the Ditch Light Kit, I do see the backorder status stating will ship on December 9th. Let me touch base with our team to get the latest update and apply the latest inventory status to the website!

Thank you. Unfortunately looking at the Stealth light bar, not the pro. Doesn't show the ability to order for that one:

Give 'er another try! You can also pick up that ditch kit while you're at it. You'll get it as soon as DD would have it back in stock! :)
