Other end has more goodies. Squadron Sport fogs and a 30" OnX-6 Hi-Power. I'll be plopping a 40" S8 with white Spot lens into the hood bulge in the near future...

No photos yet, but just ordered 5 more squadron sports this morning. Two white work/scenes for my zero-turn mower, and three for my Kubota tractor (white forward facing and an amber for rear facing).

    Hey Chad -

How was the install? Especially cutting the holes? What did you use to make the cuts? TIA

    They look great!

2.5” holesaw, per BD instruction sheet for the S1 lights. It was a little tough to get the washers and nuts on the back, but much easier after I went and grabbed a nut driver. Honestly, the only hard part was getting up the balls to drill the holes….

Wiring could be as simple as tapping into the trailer light plug blue wire (trailer reverse lights). I went a step further and used a 5-pin relay so I can turn them on with a switch if I don’t want to be in reverse. They come on any time I back up, or with a switch through my sPOD. The 5-pin relay allows me to have two different power sources that remain 100% isolated from each other. 85/86 are trigger and ground. 30 to the light, 87A (NC) to trailer plug reverse light lead, and 87 (NO) to same trigger wire as 85 (from sPOD).

Do it. These lights are fucking incredible for this.

    Hi Brandon,

Hope you're having a great day. Seeing if you have any additional install info for me regarding the Squadron Sports with oem foglight bezel mounting plates for a 2nd gen Tundra. I'm hitting a snag on install. The BD mounting bracket has two attachment points at 9 & 3 o' clock positions & my oem fog light bezels only have attachment points at 12 & 3 o'clock clock. Wondering if the one bolt down point is sufficient?

Mahalo for your time take care.

Hey @Patmaui, The single bolt-down will not be an issue as the 3rd gen Tacomas utilize this kit as well and only have a single bolt-down location. If you would like you can send me a photo to my email and I can double-check those mounting brackets.

Has anyone upgraded their existing lights to the new technology making them shine further? I am wondering how the upgrade worked for you. Like, dislike??

No, at times they upgrade the internals and may offer upgrades to the new electronics that change either brightness or distance. Just wondered if anyone has done this and what the end result was.
