Has anyone with the celestial silver truck replaced their fenders with Pro fenders?

@trdandglocks did, but it looks like you have already been in discussions with him.

I think it looks good but I don't like the TRD Pro Camo finish on those parts.

Pics coming in the next weeks of my new set-up.

Got some FN BFD’s on the way, pairing them up with some General Grabber A/TX 275/70/18’s load range SL.

    As she sits today:

Thanks! It has the SX package so it already comes debadged from the factory! It came with a SX sticker on the rear quarter panel but it looked kind of cheesy so I pulled it off.

Looks great. Did you get everything OEM, and where'd you put the switch?

Some one ran into the back of my other truck and totaled it after 12 days.

For being totaled, it doesn't look too bad. I mean it looks like a 1/4 ton truck ran into the back of it, but it would be a cool salvage off roader. Sucks that happened and you didn't even get past your 60 day temp tag.

Did you pick a silver instead of the orangee/red because of availability or did you think that maybe someone saw your old truck and the color upset them, and made them rear end you. All jokes aside hope everyone was ok.

Honestly the Solar Octane wasn't my first choice, not that I didn't like it but that color is very unique. I bought that truck because the dealership miss advertised by 12k and I made them honor it. My wife has a platinum sequoia and my original truck was a Limited. The difference in comfort was very obvious so I picked the silver (more professional looking), Platinum (more comfortable) and TRD OFF ROAD (more capable). I am happy all around with my choice.

It's now been said on the internet, so it must be absolute. All of us with CSM Tundra's are officially "professional looking". I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel so much more dignified all of a sudden! I like it.

It looks great! I'm going to do something similar in a month or so. 2.5/1" lift, ranch hand and 285/65r20. I will pretty much be done after that.

I can't remember if it was the capstone or the platinum had the white leather, but does your truck have it? And if so does that not scare you. I am 27 with no kids and I take care of my stuff but I feel like that Leather wouldn't hold up from use and just sun damage over the years. Or that your driver seat would wear faster than the rest. I mean idk because I don't have it, but have you liked all the Capstone + features.

I financially couldn't justify the capstone but I was looking at the 2022 I didn't see anything that my Limited didn't have other than the pop down running boards which I didn't really want. What other cool gadgets does it have?

Thanks, I have never measured the difference but apparently the platinum and capstone have better insulation so less road noise which makes sense. Good to know that leather is holding up. This is my first truck/second car ever to have leather, and I have never been a big fan. Unfortunately they don't offer fabric seats in Limited's and even SR5's I think some packages offer leather. I park my truck underneath an awning but still outside in the heat. I am at 19 months with my black leather and not seeing anything except on the Driver seat around the plastic side, it is getting wrinkled and worn. I hope it holds up, but yeah I had to have the A/C'ed seats. Game changer!

Finally finished all the mods I envisioned for my truck. Been a big fan of the silver and black look. This thing has taken me all over MT, ID, OR, WY. Next up is Southern UT for several weeks!

IMG_2193.jpgPublix supermarket in our area does a great job of hiring young people with special needs. One such young man took my groceries to the truck yesterday and was awe struck. He asked if he could sit in drivers seat. I obliged and he hopped right in. He then asked if he could crank it. He got the biggest smile on his face and said “sir, this is the baddest ass truck I’ve ever seen…how much you want for it.” I’ve made a new friend.
