Good looking RCSB on the outside, little rusty on bottom side.
Price is a little high imo.
I paid $12,999 for my 07 RCSB back in April.
But mine has 187k on the Odo though

So after about 2 weeks of owning my "new" rcsb I have a couple comments and a couple of questions.
Comments first: this thing is not only a beast but also surprisingly comfortable. Drove it home 250 miles from the dealership in the worst rain I've been in in many years. Cars off the road everywhere. The wipers were impressive as was the handling on it's 18" wheels and new tires. The 5.7 is AMAZING and has plenty of what I asked of it going up the Ozarks and even the stereo was impressive. It needs nothing except regular mirrors. I'm not a fan of the big tow mirrors. Don't plan on towing, so they are outta here. Now for the question.
I've read this thread and it seems that they made about 6000 rc trucks between 2007 and 2014. So, if that's true, that would seem that half of those would be long beds, another half of the short beds would have been 2wd, and another half of the rcsbs would have had the 4.6.
Am I correct in that assumption? Could a rcsb 4x4 5.7 be that unusual? If those numbers are even close, I would think this to be a VERY rare vehicle.
One last thing. This truck has a 3" lift and feels like I'm driving my old f250 diesel on the highway, but the turning radius and ease of parking feel more like my FJ in town. What a great combination.. Lord help me not wreck this thing! I LOVE IT!!

The thicker leaf on the bottom is an overload leaf.

My 2010 from New York looks about that bad. I need to do brake lines, brakes, and some front end work on it. Not looking forward to it.

I want to say pass, but you live in Canada. They are all going to be rusty. 21k is a lot of money for rust though.

To the best of my knowledge about 3600 Regular Cab Tundra were built from
2007 to 2010. The 4x2 5.7L Short Bed makes up a small fraction of that total.

The 4x2 or the 4x4 "Makes up a small fraction"? Sure wish Toyota would provide these numbers...

Anybody who said Toyota quit producing the regular cab in 2014 is misinformed. The regular cab short bed was cut from production when the 2014 Tundra update was released. However, Toyota kept producing regular cab long beds. It seems work trucks were the target audience as majority of the 2014+ RCLB I have seen were in a base SR trim, column shifter, vinyl floor, manual windows ect. I think I have seen one or two RCLB with a console shifter, carpet floors, electric windows ect.

In 2018 Toyota did another small update to add the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), during this update the regular cab was cut from production completely.

Seems the general thought is that the newer the year the lower the production numbers for regular cabs. I think the first year, 2007 had the highest production numbers.

Any 2014+ style regular cab short bed you see is either a 2007-2013 that has been converted or it’s a 2014-2017 longbed that has been cut down to a short bed.

The RCSB 2WD (with 5.7) was manufactured from 2007 to 2010.
*To the best of my knowledge about 3600 Regular Cab Tundra were built from 2007 to 2010. This total includes short & long beds, and all available engines & drive-trains. The 2WD 5.7L RCSB makes up a small fraction of that total.
The RCSB 4WD (with 5.7) was manufactured from 2007 to 2013.
*Roughly 2300 regular cab Tundra were made between 2011 and 2013, this total includes short & long beds, and all available engines & drive-trains.

I know you have said this before but my personal opinion that the RCSB 5.7 2wd is the most common. I see more of these than anything else. I searched weekely nationwide at AutoTrader, Cars.com, Facebook ect for almost 2 years before buying my truck. I wanted a 5.7 4x4 with a center console, majority of the trucks I found for sale were 5.7 2wd. My experience shows finding a 4x4 5.7 truck with the center console is not easy at all.

It's not my opinion that more 5.7L 4x4 were built, it's the numbers provided by Toyota that proves more 5.7L 4x4 were built. Finding them available for sale is a completely different matter all together, but rest assured that Toyota made less 5.7L 4x2 and stopped making the 4x2 years before the 4x4 was killed.

Hey all! My newish-ly acquired 07 4.7 SCSB sr5 4x4! 140k miles with a dictionary of service records from the original owner. Florida truck until 2019

Did have a bit of a bumpy start with it, but everything is sorted now and I'm definitely coming around to loving it! Just did my first fill up with it and got 17.2 mpg, pretty happy with that considering the reputation of them...

Picked it up for $9,850. With the market right now I think I did alright. Came with the cap and a set a of mounted almost new winter tires

My unicorn has landed! I'm stoked!!
It's been a long wait, I purchase it in Boise April 5th and it's been setting there since.
My wife and her friend were able to get through Canada and back home to Alaska without much hassle a couple weeks ago and are finally home .
It is still covered in bug guts and road grime from the Alcan hiway, but it's home and I had to show it off really quick. More pics to come in the next few days.

Not sure how I missed not posting in this thread. Had my RCSB 5.7 4x4 since December 2020. It's a great truck, BUT the gas mileage really su**s. I will be considering selling the beast when/if my Bronco ever gets built. What's funny is my truck was originally sold at my local dealer in Tulsa, then went through a couple owners and moved to Phoenix, AZ. I bought it and brought it back to Tulsa. The dealer had all the records on it when I dropped it off for an oil change LOL. FYI, I bought mine for $16k with 110k miles. I've already put 10K more on it since ownership. I drove it from Phoenix to Tulsa, then round trip to Tampa, FL. I've installed aftermarket bumpers (still have the stock chrome bumpers), a 12k winch with synthetic rope and a Kenwood Stereo. The poor girl got some body damage on an off-road adventure, so that might hurt the value and I understand. This isn't the official "SALE" listing, but if anybody PM's me a sweet offer it could be yours. I could include some Vision beadlock wheels as well.

Love my new to me RCSB!
Figured I'd post some more pics in the proper place.
I've removed the topper and bull bar and replaced the taillights.
Got my SC swap completed and next week hauling it 275 miles north to Fairbanks Toyota dealership to get the SC reflash.

Trust me, I'm high ranking member of the poor club.lol
I'll have less than $500 in supercharging my regular cab.
The only reason I was able to SC was because I had the blower and associated parts setting on a 2012 CM that needed an engine.
I swapped the SC off the CM, with the stock parts off my regular cab.
Then sold the CM a couple days later!

I'll give performance updates after I get the tune from the dealership this next week.
