So how rare is a 2010 4.6L RCSB SR5 4WD with the TRD stickers on the rear? I see it has tow package as well.
I've found one and it's not listed yet. I've got an '07 4.7L RCLB in 2WD, this is 4WD. I'm not liking poor winter
driving of the 2WD so I'd grab this if I can. What should I look for? Is the 6 speed a positive upgrade? It's 4.10
    gears,
Any input would be appreciated. Off to look this weekend.

Seems to me the most common RCSB trucks were 4x4 and 5.7 with SR5 package. A 4.6 is less common, but still a great motor. Not as much power as the 5.7 but the same gas mileage. The 4.6 and 5.7 are timing chain motors so no timing belt changes like the 4.7. The 6 speed is a stronger more durable transmission. Biggest problem is going to be rust and make sure the 4wd works. If it doesnt get shifted regularly it can sieze up.

Timing chain!! Thank you. ‘Sigh of relief’. LOL. The 4.6 suits me fine. I’m an old guy now and quite frankly slower is a bit better. I’ll double check the shifting but to be honest if it’s just that kind of thing I’m okay. Just hoping the electronics aren’t an issue. I’ve had my 4.7 RCLB for 3 yrs but finding winter driving just a nuisance. 4.7 has been and still is a fantastic motor. Smooth and fast. Toyota reliable. Need the front axle to turn! I’ll keep you posted.

So there sure can’t have been a whole lot of 4.6 RCSB, but curious now.

Well this truck had been on a repo list from a bank. The owner must have really wanted it back cause after 4 months he paid up. Damn!!

    And then there were 2!!!
Love my ‘07 2WD RCLB. It gone from Pound Puppy to Queen! Swapped on fresh wheels. Got the lowering kit and airbags tuned up. But really need 4WD for winter. So after near miss on a gorgeous 2009 5.7 RCSB SR5 with matching Leer cap and fully loaded @ $19,500 Canadian. I found this cosmetically challenged 2010 5.7 RVSB Base Model. 313,000 km but that’s not much concern for Toyota motor. I really like the flat black interior. My wife likes the manual crank windows. It was $10,000 Canadian but there just aren’t that many. So here it is. Line-X in the box and almost no sign of rust. Been used but not abused. So here are a couple of pics. 32BADD6E-ED92-43B2-9105-081A93CC4808.jpg IMG_1246.jpg

Was cruising around car sites looking for single cabs and found it for sale at a dealer in Virginia. Bought it after inspecting a bunch of pics and then had it shipped to me in CA. 1 Owner, 34,xxx Miles, a few dings, zero rust, old man truck it seemed like. Got lucky it turned out to be a gem mechanically/cosmetically.

Only done about 5k miles so far, but zero issues other than valve cover/plug gaskets and it does have the cam tower leak on the passenger side, more of a seepage.

Surprised it didn't have any rust, being in Virginia. Hopefully the cam tower won't start leaking too bad..either way good find! Willing to share what you paid for it?

I was too about the rust, had the dealership send me a lot of undercarriage pics. Too much, haha..28k in Sept 22'. At the time KBB was above that number and the truck market has been blowing up since, so I figured I wouldn't find a cleaner or lower mileage one. Pic of the frame rail below, rest of the truck looks as good as that.

That really doesn't seem like too bad of a price all things considered. Frame looks great!

I sprayed the Raptor 2k bedliner on the bumpers and grill, skid plate and tow hooks. Don't have a close up of the bumpers handy, but here is a pic of the grill.

Overall car market is a little softer now, but I think it goes for a similar number. Frame and undercarriage is extremely clean

On the floor portion, all I've really bothered with was putting my stock rubber floor mats down. They don't fit perfect, but I'm sure that it would be easy to find some thin grippy soft rubber matting that could be cut to fit, then glue it down so that it doesn't wrinkle or move when you're dragging something out. That seems to help considerably. I've been reluctant to put any sort of cleat on the floor to avoid having things catch on them when loading/unloading, backpack straps and the like. I did screw some loop clamps to the back wall of the cab up about midway to bungee cord taller things though. Now you have me rethinking that I could make some improvements though...

I was thinking of removing the whole “tray” in the back and building some kind of hidden storage under for tools.

Thanks for reminding me not to clean up behind the seats with "stuff". Sweaters, shop towel rolls, emergency tp, tie downs, Thomas guide, umbrella, etc. No slip and slide since '08 :D

I've had mine out, if memory serves, there really isn't that much room under it. 3-4 inches I'd guess. It might be a good time to add a little sound deadening material if you're so inclined.

If you pack enough stuff in there, it can't go anywhere...
