Moshimoto does have a lifetime warranty, but when you’re stranded on the side of the road… not funny. Just bought one for my Mustang along with the coolant reservoir and all the silicon hoses.

Yeah nothing yet. I believe there is also Griffin, but they are slower to develop new models. I believe Griffin is US made. Moshimoto is made in China and CSF in made in India my friend.

seems like Griffin can make it custom made. May drop em a ring when the time is right and Tundra does not die.

I feel for the OP and definitely would not have the dealership do the work. I like to keep my money local and small business funded. That is just my views though. I would do the swap myself but not everyone has the ability or space to do this job.

To me, this is a simple case of bad luck or crap happens (no matter if it is a cap leak or rock strike). Look how many 3rd gens are out there without an issue with the radiator (this is the first one I have heard of).

What if every person wanted warranty coverage after what manufacturers clearly offered at the time of sale (with all products)? This is a hard pill to swallow, but a reality. I guess if the radiator blew at 36030 miles, this might be a good will case.

The nut kicker is the puny 50 or 60k powertrain warranties now days. Even the makers think their engines are crap shoots to make it to 100k

Some vehicles have 36-60k. Others have 100k. I know it sucks and I'm trying to be sympathetic to early failures.

People can buy extended warranty's, but only once has that ever panned out for this guy....and that was on my 2012 tundra.

Very few non diesels left at 100k. Even some if the diesel warranties are truncated to 5 years hoping most folks dont hit a 100 k that quick.

Could be worse. First new car I bought has the 12k bumper to bumper. The powertrain was still 60k which I used for a new tranny at 50k.

They want you to buy the extended warranty. It works be better if they sold that as a OEM package priced add on like the kraut burners. Instead of making it a lard party by your local finance manager

You're not wrong...that's for sure. We could go down a rabbit hole on what I do to try and mitigate these costs.

Mine was a slow leak, nothing catastrophic. I didnt even know it was leaking until I saw the reservoir was low and then started poking around.

I'd being it to a shop that specializes in radiators. Should be a piece of cake for them and hopefully be reasonable.

23 Tundra here with 62000 miles and radiator went yesteday. Same as the pic, leaking coolant bottom of radiator. The dealership told me the sealants in radiator completely failed. Fortunately, have entended warranty and it is covered.
