Do you have a solar panel? Or, how do you charge it? (Looks sweet)

I have a 200w solar panel (not installed) which will be attached to my Prinsu roof rack. Right now it uses the DC/DC charger and charges from the alternator.

Nice. I’ve always wondered why cars like the Prius don’t have one big solar panel incorporated in roof/hood.

Has anyone with a 2023 SR5, found they are "prewired" for the USB? I hate to tear the console apart to either splice or add the Y-cable from the kit, 00016-34325. I purchased a OEM USB port, w' flip covers', off of Ebay. No, I have not pulled my console apart, nor tried to pop the USB "plug" out. I grabbed this photo from MRQZTNDR93's post hoping that someone found the USB "hole-plug" had a harness connected to it:

You’re not prewired. I’ve done this mod already. Mine is a 22 SR5 (loaded with all option packages) but they didn’t change anything to speak of between 22 and 23. I used the one with the covers as well. I also have the 120V inverter like you. But you can easily pull that back cover off if you want to have a looksy yourself. Don’t even need any tools.

Confirming that the usb Power is not pre-wired. I have a 2023 SR5, I had to splice into the front USB circuit.

    What’s wrong with stock?

I have a 22 SR5 and it was not prewired. I used the kit from sparks and taped into the power without cutting a wire. Takes about ten minutes to install as all the parts you need are included.

It looks like Sparks is the only place that carries the 00016-34325 kit. I was going to order one but they want $26.28 shipping for the $57.60 kit. That rear-seat charger option ain't worth that much.

They have always been crazy with their shipping prices. Even in the days of the flat rate boxes from USPS.

Wait, is this a plug and play for rear USB? no splicing required? I have a 2022 SR5 premium and I too have been wanting USB ports for my kids in the rear. The 120V plug doesnt supply enough power to charge two ipads for long road trips when i plug in a plug with two ports on top. The plug just gets screaming hot and i find the ipads to not be charging fast enough for how much they use the battery.
    Thank you in advance.

If you search that part number on ebay, there's a few dealerships selling that kit. Ranging from 45-50 bucks once shipping is added in, or around 50 with free shipping.
