Went and played in the water this weekend with the family and a few friends. Had a blast.

How do you like soft topper? Did you consider hard shell?

Love it! But I don't plan to sleep in it I don't think. More or less just a way to keep things somewhat dry, but it still has its leaks that's for sure. I think I paid like $120 or something from a guy on here locally so a hard shell wasn't even a consideration, just a great deal. If I had to choose between the two I'd definitely get a hard shell, and at that point I'd probably camp in it as well.

Scored some Icon 2.0 Alumas locally for the rear. Trying to figure out the front now and get rid of the 5100s up there.

It's official, Tundra has transitioned into dedicated tow pig for the drift rig. Just kind of hit a point of realization that unless it's the beach or a lease road for work I don't really get to offroad like I used to. Which is fine! I'm stoked on the new hobby, new friends I've already met, and excited to learn some shit about this 6 speed g35 dad wagon. Motor swap next week! Have a goal of Sept 25th for the beginner driver track day locally...we shall see!

What're you swapping into it? I always liked the VQ even though it sounds like a trumpet. Drifting 4 doors is always cool. Tundra looks good too

Thought about doing the LS but it ended up being about a $5000 swap with the adapter plate so I'm going to stick with the VQ. Seems to be a reliable motor that's easy to find and there's tons of DIY info on it so the swap should be pretty simple. Lol it does sound like a trumpet.

Beach Trip after the purchase. Came with a spacer lift in the front. Sat nose high.

Nothing like a TX beach day in Feb. Got pretty windy out there towards the evening, but nonetheless had a blast and the place to ourselves. Unfortunately did not get a single bite out there fishing...so sandcastles it was!

GoRhino D6 running boards installed. Makes me miss my WKOR sliders. Probably will go back to sliders eventually, but these are a great temporary solution for a step and my pregnant wife.

Beach fun at Bolivar on the TX Coast for our toddlers birthday. Probably our last trip until our baby girl comes. Got him a tent for his bday so hopefully we will have some good camping memories ahead when wife needs/kicks us out of the house.
