Yeah true. The yellow CCS is probably my favorite of all time so far. So many uses with a heavy cut, but foam pad. I got the entire HDO heavy cut, cut, and polish line. Didn't get any of the waxing pads as I typically wax by hand.

I'll have to get a few next order. I'm hooked on the buff and shine MF pads now but will get some new ones for Xmas

Should be great for your AIO jobs. I wish they were a little thicker though but overall I love them.

I really should do more polishing considering I have 4 DA’s, tons of pads, and probably 15 different compounds / polishes.

Just for giggles I put some Cerakote on one little spot on my Bakflip a couple of weeks ago:

You used it on your soft tonneau, so do you figure it would work on a jeep soft-top (or any other convertible top?)

It’s not a soft one. It’s a Bakflip MX4. No idea how it would perform on fabric.

First ever time doing this so it’s not great. Truck was filthy. It’s still a truck with some scratches and dings but looks pretty good. Washed with dawn in pressure washer with mitt, clayed with heavy clay bar, washed with Meguiars Gold Class, then did the Griots 3in1. After all the fires and some camping trips the truck really needed it. Only took about 4 hours. Will do the wife’s Ioniq tomorrow.

I have to agree as well. Of course, a fire broke out in Napa last night. While I am mostly concerned for the people in harms way, I now have ash falling all over the truck and can’t help but be upset about that.

Hopefully the 3in1 treatment helps it clean off easily. Bummed that I couldn’t get a second coat on this morning though.

Two coats is probably really recommended so that you don’t miss spots. I do think it will add another layer but you could do it the next time you do the truck.

Detailed the fiance's BRZ. Clay bar and blackfire one step. Turned out great! Quite a bit different than detailing the Tundra lol.

He definitely had an easier time with a grey car than he does with a black Tundra.

Definitely makes it easier to clean. I had decent results on the red Tundra just rinsing with water one day.

I love that color so much. My daughter’s Tundra is going to need some paint work soon. It’s 9 years old, and has a few hickeys in it. I also noticed some serious clear coat failure on both corners of the front bumper this weekend. Hopefully that won’t set me back too much.....

Looks like your truck had an earthquake and cracked! Sorry, couldn't help that. Beautiful shine and I know you spent many hours getting it ready for the photo shoot.

I used 2 white lake country thin pro pads. The thin pros are newer from autogeek. The thinner pad seems to be better for my pc7424. So far I've had good results with them.

Will have to give those pads a try....have always used the Griots BOSS pads......but they seem to run on the less aggressive side

My personal daily driver I just bought yesterday. Quick wash and Griots 3 in 1 to spice it up. Paint is in horrible shape (15 year old car). Within the month ill show before/afters after I correct it.
