We're almost twins. Nice truck. Is that a remote control truck on the tailgate?

Weird flex but I like it. I had no idea that $400 RC crawlers were a thing.

Lol $400 is considered a bargain in the RC world. Lots of RC cars go into the thousands as soon as you start modifying or racing.

Fully agree. White reminds me of work trucks, but hey I love the low effort it takes to keep it looking clean
Fully agree here too. Black looks beautiful when immaculately clean, but my god is that hard. Although it pays me well when I detail them hahahahah. Huh didn't know the white changed throughout the years, thought they were all about the same

Speaking of stripes and looking clean ... I'm genuinely thinking about doing heritage colors on the front fender. Something like one of these. On the fence about fender flare or no fender flare. I think no fender flare looks better, and crop it at the hood seam.

I think it looks better without the fender flare. It makes for a nice clean cut off along the body lines.

I have been thinking on and off about doing the heritage stripes on the bedside then perhaps on the hood as well.

Exactly, and I was intending just to do it on the driver fender, similar to that. Just a little war paint.

I like it but I think the topper needs to be painted first. Gold wheels, gray topper.. it's too much. I like it without the flares too.

I do like it better with no stripes on the flare. I’ve also been thinking about the stripes on my white truck as well, but i’m thinking about going way OTT with the design. It is just a thought though.

Man I want to incorporate the heritage stripes on my truck so bad, but phantom grey pearl is not really the color for big stripes I don’t think. Maybe some small accents. But on white, those big ole heritage stripes look right at home. Do it!!! I love the ones on the bedsides.

The thought crossed my mind. Something like this. But then I'd need to run it up the shell also, then up and ovr the shell, and it just gets to be too much, I think.

Looks awesome! Frame looks as good as the paint?

FYI, I recognize very well the grease stain marks at the driver door jamb. If the paint is chalked in that spot and holding grease, I'm happy to throw out some advice on how to get that paint shiny again so it won't hold crud.

Here's a couple favorites since I got the truck in August. I think I just about like it as much as the FJ Cruiser it's replacing. If only Toyota offered a 6MT option for the 4.7 trucks. :/
