Had an extra VLEDs rear footwell kit and wired up front and rear dome lights.
Will have night output pics when it’s dark out.

Cheesy double sided tape top mount but it’s temporary until a Meso option is available.

    Finally the illumination I wanted.
I was hesitant because how it looked cosmetically but the function over form wins.

I’m still liking it due to size and power but I do miss modding Tacomas. I wish I could have both. Tacomas are great for everyday use, the Tundra is big and clumsy for daily use. Hope the GRC will fill that void.

Didn’t want black but it was MSRP.
Will create a separate build thread for the GRC.
Tundra build will continue to be updated but at a slow pace.

Truck looks great! Just curious about how difficult the install was of the dash lights?

Driver side is just a slight trim on the dash piece and LED clips right in
Passenger side no holes for the LED clips behind the trim piece.
The LED is literally sandwiched in between outer dash piece and soft portion

Thank you for your reply. One more thing if I may. How did you run the wiring. Sorry if I duplicated this post. Not real good at posting on forums.

Running the wires with side panels removed I found to be the easiest. Also dropped down the lower dash panels and zip tied away from heater core and steering column.
    Hope this helps.

Pics or f the under seat ones? Thinking f adding blue ones to the back to match the front ones. Worried they might be way to bright though…

I finished the front doors and need to run wires to the rear doors. I might add the blue for the rear footwell. I have extra parts for them.
Been working on the Corolla lately.

Couple of questions regarding the interior oem lighting.

You mentioned the door lighting just clipped in. did you mean it mounted in place or the harness clipped in and you did not need to wire it up to a power source? I know you mentioned wiring the footwell lights to the center console light, if you had to power the door lighting did you go into the same circuit as the footwell lights?

What about the full panel led bars for the doors make it a difficult install? Does it require cutting to fit the bar?

Last did you need to trim the dash panels to fit the bar leds?

    Thank you.

Each Door LED illuminating cubby will snap in to factory clips. You’ll notice a cavity in your door panel, once you remove the window switch panel you notice the factory opening. Front two doors will need to be hard wired to parking lamp circuit.
Always always test using a digital multimeter DMM. Don’t rely on someone shouting out wire colors.
Rear doors you will need to run wires to door jams, I’ve tested the switch wires and no parking lamp circuit(it’s multiplexed)
Footwell white (double sided tape that came with VLEDs universal kit) is wired to dome light circuit wiring found and ran to roof console.
Footwell light blue (also clips in factory provisions) is parking lamp wiring found in the left side switch panel for ambient lighting.
Had the full OEM led bars for the doors but did not want to cut the door panel to make them work so I sold them.
Yes both dash panels will need to be trimmed as mentioned to allow lighting to be visible.

    Nothing yet, brand new.
Do you have the part numbers with their descriptions for all of the ambient lighting? I see the PN’s from your pics, just asking if you have that info.
