Clear impact mark on the OP's first pic showing from the inside. Windows really don't just shatter for no reason. I had seen a few back in the dealership days that had some slight chip from an impact that compromised the integrity and then another factor can enter the picture and finish the job like heat, torque (picture opening a hatchback). Personally experienced a relatively small stone make a nearly imperceptible chip in the back window of an 87 Camaro and all it took to shatter was when I opened the "hatch" and it twisted ever so slightly from the pressure the prop rods put on it.

While still working in service at a dealer, for warranty, we used a ball point pen to "draw" across any visible crack or around a suspected impact area and you would hear the pen "click" off of the impact mark, even when it was nearly impossible to see. Only time I even thought it could have started an issue was when Jeep first went to the four door Wrangler, had a few windshields crack in the first couple months that I couldn't find any impact marks, even with the uber-scientific "ball point pen" method. I thought maybe the body was not sufficiently stiff and was twisting and causing the cracks. I left the dealership career before I heard if it was just coincidence or was a design issue.

From that angle maybe something caught your tire and flung up from there?

I’m not sure why, I’m not a window tint professional. I just shared what I was told.

I've seen this happen while lawn service company mowers were out and about. A lot of these guys go over rocks while mowing the lawn and the blades shoot pebbles into windows, causing them to shatter.
