thanks, brother, a small update on the exterior... found a color-matched ARE Overlanding Camper Shell on FB for a steal so I couldn't pass that up. Honestly, I didn't know if I would like it before I bought it, but after a few months of use and a few trips w friends... i love it.

 

Same here. Want to color match doors handles on crew cab. Seems any I've come across are $350-$450. Lil steep for my wallet. Thought about ordering some smooth paint to match ones and getting the rattle can and clear coat and DIY. I've heard Automotivtouchup.com is really close on the match. Currently have the textured black and have a set of chrome but think color match would set apart.

Anyone tried? Also, anyone seen color matched tailgate lift handles?

Never seen that before, but I love it. Look great! I wonder if heat gun set on low would be a quicker, better option than hairdryer? So under the black was painted well? And residual glue, etc? Got me thinking hard!

Here you go, bought color matched handles and mirror caps.

 

Satin back roof, trd pro grill installed, running boards installed. 18” black powder coated steel rims, KO2 donuts. Debadge, short antenna installed. Next will be Toyota OEM LED headlights.. absolutely love this colour on this truck!!!!

Been lurking off and on, definitely some awesome Tundra's posted here. Decided to join today and post some pics of my 18. Have had my share of Toyota's, began with an 02 SR5 4Runner, then an 05 SR5 4Runner and then moved on to my current 18 Tundra. While I loved my Runners, they simply don't offer the cabin space like them Tundra's.

How do you like the 8112's? I ordered them, but looks like they ran into a stocking issue shipping them out. It's been over a week and I'm thinking about cancelling and going with something cheaper at this point..

 

Looking for advice from my silver sky experts. Just installed some 2018+ LED headlights and was wondering which chrome was better. I went the cheap route and got some used ones off eBay and the passenger was mislabeled and ended up as the black chrome. The driver was standard chrome. I leaning towards the standard chrome as it blends with the silver better.

 

Unless you're considering a chrome delete in the future, I'd vote for keeping the chrome. Or just flip a coin, the black doesn't look bad at all.

I went back to the MGM dark side in a Sequoia.

 

Well it’s taken about a week and I finally made it through all 81 pages of this thread. Some really fine trucks in here! Here to post my new to me 2020 SR5 TRD Off Road SSM. Since buying mine 3 weeks ago I had the front windows tinted to match the rears and the windshield tinted at 50%, added my camlocker toolbox, and had bilstein 5100s added to the front on the top setting with 295/70r18 Cooper S/T Maxx tires. I decided to take a leap of faith on the tires because it seems that every tundra is different in what it fits, and thankfully they did clear everything with no rubbing at all yet, but they literally couldn’t be any closer. First tundra and absolutely love this thing so far! Wanted a vehicle I could keep long term, and hoping that this will be the one.

 

Very nice truck! I too am keeping my Tundra long term and am slowing turning it into the truck I always wanted. Suspension install and alignment scheduled for Thursday. TRD pro tires going on next the week after!

 

Woooooweeeee thats a purdy truck my friend. I always wanted one and now I got one (SR5) and put Black leather seat covers (hard) with red trim. and i have put 17" Methods and 305/70/17 Cooper XLTs but I am really wanting to squeeze 315/70/17 or 35/12.5/17. Your Truck is beautiful! I have to tell you all my friends have Jeeps, and I think maybe I should get a Jeep too. Then I log on and read this forum and it reignites my Passion for customizing mine. lol

 

Anyone have a grey Softopper? Trying to decide between that and black.
