Here in SC we rarely see snow, but this week the yellow plague, pollen, got in full swing.
Last night set an appt. With my pressure wash guy for the first week of April….
As to skeeters, they are SC’s state bird.

Up here, we paint this crest on their bodies.

I’m not quite done with winter, but I’m ready for warm and sunny in the valleys, and spring snows in the hills. Makes for epic snowmobiling.

But, it has started snowing here again after 2 rounds of “fools spring”, supposed to get between 6 inches and a foot by tomorrow.

I’m really hoping the highways stay open, as we have 2 nights booked at a hot spring resort about 3 hours away, already decided to leave the Camry at home and burn some gas in the Tundra.

Pollen sticks better to a clean truck:D
This time of year you have a greater appreciation for rain.

Please send all winter to me in Orlando, Florida. We are way over due for some real winter. The 70's was the last time we had snow.

Had continuous snow for 4 days last week here in MN.

I’m itching to ride and teach MSF courses again.

Thanks, but I think there’ll be snowfall until 3rd week of March. Atleast somebody’s happy.

Happy in the snow. Happy to swim in lakes as well. This guy forces me get out of the house so I don’t get depressed in the winter.

Nope, not ready at all. It can extend a few months extra. If I had to deal with Sun and warmth daily I’d jump off a bridge.

Love winter, just tired of the below zero temps. Coldest winter in the 15 years we've been up here. More snow, less below zero temps please!

Hey, If you don't like the snow and ice, I have a house for you in Florida...where you can sweat your ass of 10 months out of the year, it was 86 degrees couple days ago. typical winter weather 60's - 80's throughout the day. winter in Florida is like two weeks of cold. I'm moving back up to Pennsylvania, where it is nice and cool. I FN hate Florida.

Nooo, I don't want to move to FL, probably NC is as south as I would go... Not for a long while though, I still love my house and its location, and the state I live in, but eventually I think I will be ready to leave winters, I do kind of enjoy the break from yard work at least!

HAHA, that looks fun, sledding and not freezing, visiting FL sounds great, but too warm in the summer for me to move there. I made the best of the last dumping we got...

I took Wednesday off work and went and enjoyed winter.

Then I bought a motorcycle on my way home.

Now I’m all confused as to what season I want. :angrygirl:

For sure. That picture was high in the hills, where there is a solid 4’ of snow on the ground, more than average this year.

A good part of the snow is gone in the valleys though, lately it’s been melting fast during the day and freezing again at night.

The other answer to your question is that there are two seasons in Canada. Winter, and Construction.

20 Inches of snow yesterday, no power since 9 am, 48 degrees in my house when I left for work this am.... The snow blower has also decided to be an asshole, but at least my Tundra made it out of the driveway and through the three foot plow snow bank at the end!!

At least I work out of a fire station so I have power today and a shower... ugh.

    ..l.. Mother Nature!
