    I ordered 4 of those little licence plate bolt lights for $6 to try out and also one of the ones like @BlueBottle suggested. Gonna pick up a few resistors too in case I need to dim them down. Thanks everyone.

    It's not too bright IMO. I may dim it down but haven't driven around with it yet so we'll see

    Drove for about 15 minutes in the dark today. It's not overly bright or distracting.

    So far so good. Anyone want one of these bolt lights? I got 4 and think I'll use 2, maybe 3.

    Report back on what you do with it.
    I'm gonna try to light up under my hvac controls someday, hopefully soon when I pull my center console to sound deaden under there. I dont wanna have to pull off that lower dash more than once
