Exactly why I bought a propane fire pit a couple of years ago. Usually are able to use these during burn bans. An now even use it at home when I don't feel like working to get a real fire going.

This is the one I have.

The story of having days off on third shift in rural Kentucky.

First off, a little back ground. I wear my work clothes to work on my vehicles because work will replace them/launder them for free. So, I've been tinkering in the tent of pain off, and on since I started the crackhead resurrection.

I get my clothes oily, dirty, dusty, greasy and just plain old nasty. Today I was working on my V6 replacing a shitty splice job I did on my ATF lines going to the cooler. Wrapped up, and went inside the house to do an inventory of work clothes. None clean, and all are beyond filthy for our washer. Decide to go to the laundromat.

Load up the virus. Get detergent, and softener. Mosey my way to the 25/8 laundromat. Bundle up all my clothes, and waller inside the building. Cold outside, and still chilly inside.

Set all my clothes down on the table, and start setting things apart from each other. Turn around to the change machine. Both out of service. "Shit." Grab all my stuff, and head back to the car heading for gas stations. Pass by all 4 local ones. "None are 24/7 now? You're shitting me? Fuck."

Start moseying back to the house. "Car wash!" Stop by two of the three car washes in the county. Out of service. "WTF!" Hit up the last one. "Thank fuck, it works!" Get 80 quarters back. Head back to the laundromat.

Get there. Set back up. Divy up clothes. Put appropriate sized loads in appropriate sized washers. Sit down, and realize I drove all over the county just for some damn quartes to save our washer.

Fuck bro, I came in this thread looking for a laugh and you went "shits real"
My cousin is an officer down here in Broward county and his partner for many years came to work 1 day looking all kinds of depressed. After the morning roll call, he sat at his desk all quiet so my cousin finally asked him "what's up bro, everything cool", he turned his chair to face my cousin and said "no, shits fucked". He pulled his service revolver, pointed it straight into his chest and pulled the trigger. Died at the scene. My cousin has never been the same but still put in 12 more years and finally retired.

I haven't been around in a while so yes I'm reviving old threads like a bad relationship.

    Before I start.....
    "Disclaimer goes here's ->> it wasn't me. I wasn't there. I cannot recall.
I have retired all the craziness and live a quiet life nowadays.

Me and my cousin lived together for roughly 10 years, being carefree, careless train wrecks.
I get home from work 1 evening, exhausted but still on my feet, no one home and all is quiet. I figured I'm staying home for the night so I grab a beer, some tequila and a Klonopin (prescription sedative), have a seat in front of the tv and relax. 20 minutes later my cousin shows up with his girlfriend (kinda girlfriend) and says "get dressed, we going to Patricks house". I opened my mouth to say no but my lips said ok. Get dressed, hop in the back seat with my beer and tequila and my cousin hands me a Klonopin, "we have to stop by Mike's house 1st so keep drinking and enjoy the ride"
I really don't fit in with the crowd at Mike's house but I got a good buzz going so I can careless about the company. Hour or so later the whole crowd starts loading into cars and we head to Patricks house. Mike's girlfriend leans over and says "you look like you really don't want to be here" which I reply simply with a smile and wink at her "I'm good". She reaches into her purse, hands me a Klonopin, grabs my drink and she washes down 2 pills. I of course took pill #3 and continued the evening in my own little bubble.

A week or 2 goes by and my cousin comes home 1 day and says "get dressed, we going to Patricks house"
Ok, I'm dressed riding in the back seat completely sober but I have in my hand and working on fixing that. We get to Patricks, ring the bell, a beautiful young woman answers the door and immediately yells "G" with a smile and gives me a big hug. I take 2 steps into the house and I'm greeted again with a hug and smiles by another cutey. Before I can say anything, a few more cuties and a couple of guys walked over and greeted me like old friends do.
Finally, people started moving on so I lean over to my cousin and ask "who the fuck are all these people and how do they know my name?"
It's officially remembered as the 3 pill party, apparently I had a great time but have absolutely no recollection of it.

    Party friends!

That reminds me of a time in my early 20's. A group of us were up in the mountains having a bonfire and drinking. A few hours go by and someone gets the idea to go down to the bar. After getting even more shit faced, we all head to a buddies house to crash.
Next morning rolls around with a good hangover, talking about the night before. Apparently we went to 2 bars that I had no memory of, had a good laugh over that. Then I asked who drove us here, "you did". :anonymous:

I definitely don't do that shit anymore, anything over 2 drinks and I'm not driving.

    I’m do for a rewatch.

crazy, my lady had never seen them before. So last year, we watched LOTR first then all the hobbits. She liked the hobbit collection more…

my local brewery theater is celebrating the 20th anniversary of ‘the fellowship’ starting next week with a Gandalf the grapefruit lager and lord of the ring pizza (has an onion ring on it)

As many times it has aired on tv, I thought everyone had seen it at least 5 times. TBS (I think) aired the whole series on repeat for 2 or 3 days straight

    I can’t remember for sure but I don’t think I got mine till 90 or early 90’s?
Small town kids were always a little late to the party

BUT!! I still have my NES, sega genisus, N64, a few game boy colors (not sure where my OG gray one went?) sega game gear, PS2 and Wii. I think my brother has our Super Nintendo and game cube
