Do it. I bought a $90 welder from harbor freights and started testing on scrap metal. My first project was a bed extender. Mind you it's a wire welder so it's easier to pick up.

Black & Decker owns Dewalt. Milwaukee is owned by TTI, a Chinese company. Both are made/assembled in the US from local and foreign sources. with the batteries made overseas. Here’s a good website which discusses who owns who:

Looks like you have at least on of the Milwaukee impact wrenches. I’m seriously considering pulling the trigger on one (pun intended). How do you like yours?

I have 2 of them, a mid torque and it's bigger brother. I like them. They do make a lot of the DIYs much easier. If you are going to get one I'd recommend the mid torque.

Thanks very much for the feedback! It’s always good to get info from someone who’s actually used the tool. I have a fair number of Milwaukee tools and have always found them to be tough tools for a fair price.

I have the same circular metal saw that's on your bottom shelf. Locally, they're pushing $500. I got mine for free from work. The dickheads figured it was burnt out and pooched so they were going to bin it. I snagged it, and took it apart. Just needs a $10 bearing. :D

This shit they throw away at work has me shaking my head on a daily basis.

I highly recommend the Flexzilla line of hoses. I have the air and I bought a 50' 1/4" hose for the pressure washer on sale at Farm and Fleet for like $30.00. Pressure wash hose has me annoyed just thinking about winding it back up.
