The pipe slightly touching the power side step. The metal hanger is stout. I need more leverage.

Ideas on what those have tweeked the exhaust hanger? Pics?

hoping my online order goes through for Fred Haas since they are local to me and had Memorial Day discounts offered. Really not a fan of the drone on my stillen exhaust so I guess I’ll try and create a hybrid setup for the stillen vs swap back to stock and use these new tips for better stock-ish appearance.

Please keep us updated. I'm also interested in this exhaust but I know many have been having trouble ordering it.

Fred Haas canceled. I re-ordered through OEM vehicle parts 5/27 and they emailed back just asking for VIN but haven’t heard back since

Any updates on this? Were you able to make it not touch the power bed step?

I just received mine today! Looking forward to installing myself. Not entirely sure of the process, will re-read this entire thread. Is there a video available? I want to be very sure about the primary jack location and also I plan to use jackstands. I have not removed my spare before and also need to figure that out. As others have mentioned, thanks to these posts I’m building the confidence to install it myself. I’m sure that a shop would charge at least 2-300 or more for this install. Thanks!

Really having fun with this so far! Very enjoyable upgrade at an amazing price. I can’t stop admiring it. Sound is subtly different, I love it.

I like it a lot. The difference is subtle but noticeable. Much nicer than stock. Appearance is also outstanding. The price is amazing. If you want more growl you can swap to one of the superb mufflers in the exhaust thread in combination with this.

I'm glad you guys were able to get the great deal from OEM Vehicle Parts.
I WAS getting a similar deal price and shipping wise as those in this thread that had ordered there.
    Shipping was $37 and change.
It gets here (well, to my local P.O.) after roughly 5 weeks and I get a Postage Due notice for $236.07!! :censored::frusty: I R.T.S.ed it.

Questions for you guys that got them through OEM Vehicle Parts:
    Where are you located?
How did they ship to you?

Ordered one yesterday via Toyota parts site and got a message that it’s ready for pick up today.
    Total price $268

I assume this was your local dealer if you're picking it up?

I've contacted five dealers near me and not a single one of them has answered with pricing/availability.

Picked one up today. Anyone know what the torque spec is for the exhaust flange nuts with a new gasket?

No, not at all. I had to call 6 dealers to find one available for sale. Everyone else told me they were still backordered forever and the ones they did have were allocated for folks.

Just placed an order for the Black Chrome (PT226-34220-02) for pickup at the local dealer. Final cost was 231.75 plus tax after 25% Black Friday special from Toyota and additional dealer discount (they had is listed at 309.60 before the 25%). No idea whether it will go through (slightly nervous about availability after reading posts above) but I guess I will find out soon.

UPDATE: Took 10 days for the exhaust to come in. Picked up today and spray painted two pipes immediately after the decorative black tips. Will attempt install tomorrow.

UPDATE #2: Thanks to the tips posted here (essentially, raising the truck at the hitch as a support point), the installation was a breeze.

I just ordered Black Chrome (PT226-34220-02) from local dealer up the road (East-central Florida), as my local dealer was not participating in the 25% Black Friday special. Total $276 (including tax), pickup at dealership. Hope to have them install it, hopefully no more than hour labor (~$100).

You are all getting great deals on the dual exhaust! I had thought my price of $340 including ship and tax was a great deal, but the $231 and $276 you both got it for is spectacular. Sounds like ordering it through the dealership with discounts is the ultimate way! Well done sirs!

Yes, that 25%-off Black Friday sale really helped! Plus the dealer had it discounted by 10% already. Labor ended up costing an additional $140 (labor+shop fees+taxes).
