Where you able to remedy this with a heat gun? I have the same issue after installing a CBI stealth winch bumper...I cant tell if i bent the flares out of alignment or the ends of the front bumper need to be pulled back out? I noticed there may be a way to adjust this with the small brackets on the upper sides by the headlights. Ive pulled my bumper on and off about 5 times now to fix and everytime i cringe thinking im going to make it worse as the plastic is never the same each time...looking for a solution before i continue to mess with it more

The picture showing the TRD Pro flares doesn't appear to have the weather stripping, which goes between the flare and the truck body. It may just be the picture, but that would fill the gap if it is indeed missing.

I actually ended up taking the pro flares off and putting the stock flares back on. I don’t have too much poke with +35 offset. The paint match stock flares look much more streamlined on my truck in my opinion. So, while the gap did bother me, didn’t like the camo as much as I had hoped. Win some, lose some.

So to revisit this darn wiring of the flares, ‍. I'm wanting to use them with the DRLs and attempted to utilize trailer hitch wiring harness on my Diode Dynamics Hitch Light. Based on the diagram, "Brown" would be the DRLs and the "White" would be the ground. When connected for testing, I got flickering on the fender flare marker light, not solid operating as intended.

I'm also wanting to wire all fender, tailgate, grill, and fender the marker lights in one with disconnects for each section. This assuming the trailer wiring works and should support all the small LED lighting.

This looks so good. Congratulations how did you end up wiring them. I noticed you have premium headlights. Thanks for any advice I have a platinum and the fender flairs just sitting in my garage.

These might be pricey but they do mean much less dicking around with the seal and waterproofing/heat shrink which the Rave system is all about.

I would get them if I hadn’t already bought the Rave kit.

Thank you! I used the Trailhunters kit. I agree with Ryan that it does a great job. I used this link https://thetrailhunters.com/shop/exterior/2022-tundra-trd-pro-fender-flare-marker-light-plugs-kit/ make sure that you select the complete "plugs and quick disconnect connectors" option.

I am thrilled with the lighting now working it looks amazing and comes on when ignition is on. As Ipaddick mentioned I used an add a fuse in the location recommended by Trailhunter earlier in this thread. I encourage anyone with the flares that are not yet wired to go for it. The marker lights just add a ton to our vehicles IMHO, the effect is outstanding.

Do these plug into the fuse box or do you need to do the add a fuse thing?

Took the idea from the TTap style and made a jumper plug and play harness, I have the poverty model NON LED headlighhts. If I want to bring it back to stock I just unplug and back to normal. Also in Hawaii, corrosion is no joke when you I live with on shore air daily reason I didn't TTap

The fuse location selected above (see previous fuse location attachment) functions with ignition only.

Turning on lights, or fog lights does not activate the marker lights if the ignition is off. While the ignition is running, even if turning off lights and/or fog lights, the marker lights stay on.

I consider the marker lights wired in this way as ignition lights. While driving with them lit, the overall effect in tandem with fog lights and headlights together is impressive.

This also gives other vehicles a better sense of the width of the truck especially when driving at night on the highway for example. They are awesome. I am very happy with this mod.

Sorry for being so dense, electrical is not my strong suit…so with the kit your selling on eBay you hard wire to the fender lights and then have the connector to plug into…where?

just a DIY kit with the OEM connectors vs custom connectors out there, but then run wire TTap into blinkers or wire your own power like others did that's all

man wish I had seen this before buying the rave off road kit.

I used the 7pin add a 4 pin y adapter behind the bumper. Works great and with parking light they come on. I did add a fuse link to the power for all of them. Works great.

So I guess I am little confused. Going to add the flares soon and got the trailhunters connectors already. Thought, through reading here, that power could be obtained either from a trailer adapter from a 4pin connector or from t-tap to the front fuse box. Not both-what am I missing? Sorry being dense

Depends on how you want them to come on? When truck is running always? Or with just when lights are on, even DRLs can be cut off (on my platinum).

connect to fuse block I only found one or two spots in my hybrid that were on when truck is. So I went with idea found on here for tap into the tow hitch 7pin connector, but added a waterproof fuse holder and ran 16-18ga wire along frame front to rear both sides and tied all in, but I used water tight plugs also from Amazon to enable unplug for replacement or removal for wrapping or work?

brown and white wires I think can’t remember. But mine come on with parking lights using this method and no issues so far.

I did this method, the trailer wiring harness and used the flat 4-pin for the DRL option. No issues so far and loving it.

No, @Taikowaza that is the Kuat Ibex bed rack system. It's pretty awesome!

To add how I wired my lights, here's my best description on the process for anyone reading this.

I'll get some pictures and upload them as soon as I can too. Basically I had already bought the Rave connections for the front, rear, and all fenders. I then heat shrunk the connections onto all the lights. I then used and heat shrunk a Deutsch DT 2-Pin LED male pigtail on each connection for the front. I then used a 4 female into 1 male Deutsch DT 2-Pin harness. Once all the lights were connected to the harness, I ran single female to male Deutsch DT 2-Pin wire harness to the rear.

With the rear section I utilized the CURT 55384 harness and 58030 4-Pin harness. I then connected the CURT 55384 harness and connected the CURT 58030 4-pin to the CURT 55384 harness. I used only the brown (DRL) and white (ground) wires on the CURT 58030 4-Pin harness and heat shrunk a male Deutsch DT 2-Pin connection to them. I then heat shrunk a male Deutsch DT 2-Pin pigtail on the rear tailgate marker lights and both fender flares. I used a 4 female into 1 male Deutsch DT 2-pin harness to bring it all together. Utilized some handy zip ties and electrical tape to ensure all the connections were good to go. Finally, I used flex tubing to protect it all and double checked my wiring to ensure the wires were connected and safe.

Did you ever end up painting the flares in the windchill pearl! I saw the mesquite and considered ordering for my wcp 1794.

I apologize in advance for my ignorance, what process was used to still show the cammo pattern? I’m thinking on doing this for my WCP.
