We dealt with one summer of having the pack and play in the middle of the trailer and then my wife rigged up a gate system so the kids could sleep in the bunk beds safely.

Adam, what are some of the improvements you’ve noticed right off the bat compared to the Ford?

Well, the ford's whole grille assembly was off/shifted to one side about a 3rd of an inch on the ford, and there were a few body gaps tha were off ehen comparing left to right sides of the truck. Tundra body gaps are far more even.

In the Ford you can feel the inner door panel flex inward where you pull it shut.

Not the Toyota. You can shake the truck with that same part of the door and there's no flex or movement in the panel.

Plastics feel far nicer and there's WAY more soft touch surfaces in the Toyota. General feel of the interior is sturdier in the Tundra.

Windows in the ford move slow, and at slightly different speeds in their travel. The Toyota is smoother and consistent.

The TRD OR and the FX4 OR are direct competitors for off road packages, and both feel capable. Each has pros and cons. Ford's 4x4 shifts quicker and the locket is more versatile. Toyotas suspension softens the bumps much better.

Ford's 360 camera is quite a bit nicer looking, but Toyota works AND let's you change the color of the truck in the display. Still, I think Ford executed this better.

Visors on the Tundra are stout. The Gord ones feel weak and flimsy. Very bouncy if moved to the side window, while the Toyota ones are solid and much better supported. Vanity matters on the Tundra also have lights that the Ford did not.

Just some little things there, but they add up to an overall feeling of a vast difference in quality and pride in the workmanship.

I was wondering why you’d gone quiet on the truck. Sounds like a good deal, congratulations.

I am honestly shocked you’re driving a boosted, high-strung V6. I bet you’re going to love it. Boost at elevation is heaven

I should add, the center console lid and the plastic vent surrounds in the Tundra feel very cheap compared to the Ford, but that's it.

"Rings of fire" seems like the proper analogy of what someone's butthole will feel like after eating a bag of those. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I love spicy food and have a high tolerance for heat. That is until the next day when it inevitably makes its exit and then it feels like molten lava...

Whatever you do, do not piss off the tigers, if they have any:

    https://abc7news.com/archive/8931297/

I was literally at the San Francisco Zoo a week prior to the above incident. Felt surreal to read about what went down, when I had literally stood in the same place watching those tigers in their open air enclosure.

I was definitely tired and did not double check what autocorrect was doing. That combined with me fat fingering the keyboard... yeah, it's a mess.
