I'm not saying I wouldn't try it, but I'm 99% sure that they steak would be better with just butter and real salt.

Beaver Extra Hot Horseradish is my favorite for steaks if I’m adding something. Blue cheese also works for me.

 

Steak to room temp, salt both sides with Redmond's Real Salt, melt butter in a pan/skillet, pan sear to taste keeping it medium rare to rare and applying a pat of butter to the seared side when you flip it. Not seeing where adding cheese is making this better.

Not to depart from the steak cooking controversy, but this got me thinking.
In 7 working days I depart the workforce. I've fired a lot of people in 45 years, only felt sorry for one. He was a 20 something kid that had been in the marines and had some issues. Something he was working on wasn't going his way and he beat the fuck out a torpedo tube breech door with a maul, in a torpedo room full of sailors.
I had already decided to fire him when we were contacted by NCIS, they said fire him and pull his clearance or we'll prosecute for sabotage. He was fired, he was crying the whole time. I hope he got turned around with some help.
The rest were most deserving of discharge. I actually got sued twice, won both with the assistance of some high powered company lawyers.

The RIFs were hard though.

I've really enjoyed my job, mechanical stuff and steel can only behave the way it's intended to. People, I've found are about 95% righteous, the other 5% can fuck right off. Firing them was almost as satisfying as finding a Navy wrench in a sanitary pump, while investigating a guaranty claim.

If you could have a no holds barred all night session with Scarlett Johansen but you have to eat sushi twice a week for a month, would you do it?

 

Who needs a whole night? A few minutes would probably suffice.

 

Steaks should be cooked over an open flame. No butter necessary. Unless it's a sirloin. Then it should be left with the butcher instead of dressing it up with butter. If one wanted to add cheese, blue is the best option.

 

So no opposition to sushi if getting laid by a hot lady is involved.

Anybody got his wife's number? We need to get her on board with freezing him out until he eats sushi and joins the brain worm legions.
