I never see any 2 tone Tundras but here is mine. I got it for free with 44k miles about 2 months ago.

I come from a long line of GM die-hards. My Tundra is my 1st foreign pickup. I bought my first Toyota in 2011, we've owned a couple since, and about to trade up one for another. After about a dozen brands owned over the years, I really have no desire to drive anything else.

Someone has to ask: How the hell you get yours free?

I spotted a few two tone Best Gens recently. They are out there but not super common.

My grandad left it to us. He bought it new, sat in garage a lot. Along with several other vehicles such as 1970 Cadillac Calais with 42k miles. 1976 Triumph TR6 with 33k miles. 96 Lexus LS400 with 73K miles. 86 S10 with 21K miles... all he bought new so they are all 1 owner.

A couple of lower-mile trucks like that one have sold on Bring A Trailer above $25k. Just sayin'

I've never seen that specific 2-tone paint job before. I can't find anything in Toyota's pamphlets showing a metallic green/solid grey existed. You think it's stock?

without a doubt it is 100% stock. I was 18 when he got it and was showing it to me. hell I just peeled the sticker off the 6 disc cd changer that said "do not load more than 1 cd at a time"..I didn't even know it was a 6 disc changer until that sticker came off!

I came across this site recently in my quest to two-tone my revival project (stay tuned for more on that). Leaning towards going with an Ironman II look. ImportArchive 1958-2018 / Toyota Tundra 2000‑2006 Touchup Paint Codes and Color Galleries. It seems the jade & grey was the only factory two-tone done. If you click around on some of the other links on the sites tabs you'll find specs and other info as well.

Like I said, I never see any 2 tone Tundras. Nice website showing that they did only that color combo in 2 tone.

I recently got some 20x8.5 WT4 wheels from an 06 XSP 4RUNNER for my truck.

Does my shitbox count as two-tone? Or three-tone because of the rust?

@DarkMint I’ll see your mismatched camper and raise you a different shade of grey on the hood

You know, I gotta say, that would actually make a killer two-tone if you painted the entire top half the grey on the cap/hood, with the dividing line starting at the point of the headlight, bisecting the door handles, and passing about half an inch above the TRD sticker on the bed side. Maybe a black pinstripe for accent?

Saw a two-tone reddish Best Gen (consider that one appropriated) with what looked like a tan or gold lower. Really great color combo. Was driving opposite direction or would have sped up or slowed down to take a pic.

Edit: I see now it looks just like OP's.

    Sincerely,

Cool. I bet that 96 Lexus is a sweet ride. My friend had a 90's, Japanese built Toyota Cressida with a straight six motor. What a beautiful car that was in all respects. I think it had fluid filled motor mounts to quell any vibrations. You needed to look at the tach to know if it was running at idle, it was that smooth and quiet. Too bad granddad wasn't into bmw airheads and VW bugs as well.:D

I just figured out the other weird set of flares only came on two tone trucks and match the lower color. That's why they aren't very common.

So you're thinking no flares, regular flares, two tones flares, and trd flares?

What is different about the flares aside from the color? I can't tell.

I really want to know if I have holes in my fenders or not. For a long time we all thought that if you removed your flares you would have holes in the fender but a few members recently have shown that isn't always true.

If regular flares are the little stick on/clip on type deal then yeah. I'd call them more of a wheel trim than a flare.
Yeah that's what it seems like as far as AC anyway.

They're shaped different. They don't seem to be as wide as TRD flares. Almost hard to tell if you aren't looking at them in person.

You have the TRD flares you should have the holes. I know mine do because my front passenger side is popped out a little bit. Hard to say really though.
