I've heard of a lot of reliability issues with chevys automatic 4wd engagement. Sounds harsh too

What value does an all terrain tire bring? I see none. If your in offroad territory where your tires are limiting your progress, you better have a locker on your truck lol

Ko2's are notorious for being absolutely terrible in slushy conditions. My highway tread did great on Loveland pass during a storm

I took a good break lol. Had to rest my schizophrenic posts for a good bit, you'll have to do some digging to the covid days. A long long time ago a man by the name professional hand model set an example and the tone of how posts should be on here. I'm just trying to follow the og's footsteps. Phm, I know your lurking out here.

Look at the list of tires with 3PMS winter rating. How many are highway tires vs ATs?

Also, some of us go off highway

Yea maybe that was a little too far. 2nd gen tundras are pretty solid but they just have more new age epa garb than I'd like, and I can't afford one but we can ignore that. The twin turbo tundras make the 2nd gens looks like a gear driven diesel engine as far as reliability go

    Got that right.

My '04 Sequoia is so reliable, it doesn't make sense.

There's a reason I was after a '17 Tundra too. Mo nannies, mo problems.

Just an example of the symbol CalTrans looks for to give the wave-through at the chain control station. I don't run ko2s anymore for the reasons you stated.

I cannot disagree. First test drive I took before I bought my Tundra was a dealer modified monster with big knobby tires. As soon as I got up to speed on the interstate I asked the salesman the easiest way to get back to the lot. NWIH would I buy that truck. An all stock TRD Sport ended up in my driveway. What a delight!

Gross! Good on you getting the sport. Sport can do anything that dumb monster tundra can do, but more reliably and can still zoom around corners at 85mph

Yup. I never needed to own a set to HATE them. When u see a truck come in for service with fuel wheels and k02's, you already know the customer is dick head lol

Actually, I believe it does have a transmission cooler. It's got no V8 though, but it still turns out more power and torque than either a 1st or 2nd gen. :D
